Your digital camera

Camera: Kodak Easyshare Z740
mega pix: 5.0
zoom: 10X
I'd give it a 10. :thumbsup2 lots of settings and you can't beat the zoom. Software is easy to use. I did not buy the printer dock as I have a printer you can just put your card in, review the pix and print what you want.
I would definatly buy this camera again.
I bought this camera before our Disney trip last Dec and bought a fairly large memory card or so I thought. I have never taken so many pictures it was just so easy. Some of those first shots of fireworks were not good but I really hadn't read the book that came with it to know what I was doing. By the May trip I was better and got some decent ones.

1) Your camera model - Canon Power Shot A70, it's a few years old.

2) Optical zoom - 3X

3) Mega pixels - 3.2

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? - At the time I bought it I'd rate it an 8 or so. Compared to cameras now adays I'd give it a solid 6. I do love the rechargable batteries and expanded memory I bought with it. On my last WDW trip I recharged the batteries before leaving and took about 225 pictures all on the one memory card without having to recharge the batteries. But I wish the colors were better, I'd like more zoom, an anti shake mode, faster response time, a smaller camera and more megapixels.

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera. Sure if it were still 2003 I'd buy this camera. Since they have much better cameras now I'd be looking for somethig else.

What is;

1) Your camera model Sony DVD 403

2) Optical zoom 1x-120x

3) Mega pixels 3.3

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? 10+

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera Yes!

we are looking for a new camera and would like some reviews.

This is a video camera and still camera. It uses Mini DVDs that will hold 5000 photos in regular mode 1200 in high quality mode. I can also get 20 minutes of High quality video or 60 minute of regular quality video on a disk (or some combination there in)

Once formated, the discs can be put straight into a computer/DVD player. The camera can also play video straight into your tv or VHS. The camera and video operate in low light, ultra low light, and color slow mo low light. It

I have taken the camera camping, boating, and even on Expedition Everest and it has held its own.

It is not a simple camera to use if you want to get your full value out of it, but, it does have an easy button.

http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ is a good sourse for reviews of cameras/videos of this type.

Canon S2 IS

12x optical zoom

5 megapixels

I rate it a 10!! I really like it alot and have used it at WDW. The optical zoom worked great at AKL with the animals and I took more pictures than I ever had in my life. I don't need more than 5 megapixels because I'm not doing huge enlargements and the image stabilization works wonderfully. :) The ISO only goes to 400, though, as opposed to 800 on the new S3 IS. I also love how the lcd screen opens up and swivels around allowing me to take different angled shots and to eventually close it completely.

1) Your camera model Canon S3IS

2) Optical zoom 12x optical and 4x digital

3) Mega pixels 6mp

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? So far a 9, only because it is slightly larger than my last digital camera, but I think it will still fit in my jacket pocket!

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera So far yes. I am downloading to photobucket as I type. Went to the zoo today to break it in. The pics on my computer look great!!!! I will post them on the photo forum when they are done.

1. Model: Kodak Z612

2. Optical Zoom: 12x

3. Mega Pixel: 6.1

4. Rate it: 9.9! It has so many features that inhance the picture before we print it. And they really make a difference. The only draw back are the amount of features have made it little hard to memorize where every thing is.

5. Would you buy it again? In a heartbeat!

We just bought ours, DH dropped ours the day we got home from vacation. But I love it and the extra features really do make a difference!

Nikon D50 dslr camera.
6.1 megapixels
various lenses

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this camera! You can read reviews about it all over the web. If I had to go back I would probably buy the D70, but only because it has a couple of quirky things about it that I prefer. If you are looking at an everyday camera, then those things wouldn't be an issue.

I have the same camera. :thumbsup2

I rate it a 9.5. Size and weight are a drawback, but nothing majorly upsetting or difficult to manage.

Previously I had a Canon S1 IS so there were slight improvements. My dd's have basic Kodak digital cameras that are used for their personal use and sometimes for ebay pics for me. I would definitely buy mine's again because of the detail and capabilities. If you want something basic, say for ebay pics and to start out, I would get a basic Kodak.

Be sure to check out www.dpreview.com and our own Photography Board here.

Mine's an oldie
1) Olympus CAMEDIA C-2
2) 5X digital

3) Mega pixels 2MP
4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? 7. I'd love something better, but I've b een waiting for the market to drop before I seek a new one. That said, mine's 4 years old, handles basic daytime or nighttime shots, and looks fine in 4x6's.

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera Yepp.

Model: Panasonic DMC - FZ5

Optical Zoom: 12X

Mega Pixels: 5

Rate / Buy again: It has a lot of features that I haven't yet taken the time to learn. Which to me is good because I won't outgrow it anytime soon.

It's very light but not so small that I can put it in my pocket. That's the only negative for me. After a day at Disney or a few hours hiking I really wish I could put it in my pocket.

Here's a review of it:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicfz5/

That's also the site I used to read reviews. Lots of good information.

Camera body is a Canon Rebel XT dslr.
Lense I am using right now is a Sigma 18-125mm
8 megapixels

I love this camera and would rate it a 11 out of 10 because you can be a dummy and still take excellent, bordering on pro quality pics.

I would definitely buy it again.

Look at my sig for examples of photos it took.

We have 2 digital cameras...

#1

1) Canon S410 Digital Elph (now discontinued but there are new digital elphs out there)

2) 3x

3) 4.0

4) 9/10

5) I LOVE  my camera. It's small and compact and take it everywhere with me. I think the camera that takes the best pictures is the one you take with you! The pictures are vibrant and colorful. The auto-focus works well. Really simple to use. The only downfalls are the optical zoom (but this is a trade off with size) and there is no battery life indicator (this has been added on the new elphs i believe).

#2

1) Olympus C730 Ultra zoon

2) 10x

3) 3.0

4) 7/10

5) Meh, it's ok. The zoom is really nice for close-ups. There are lots of manual features (f-stop, apperature etc.) but it seems as though the pictures are often over-exposed (even on auto-matic.) The controls are also pretty complicated with menus inside of menus. It's also a very big camera, needs its own bag and as a result often gets left in the hotel room in favor of the smaller Canon. It takes 4 AA batteries which makes the camera heavy as well as the camera bag since there are a couple sets of back ups/charger.

1) Your camera model: Nikon Coolpix 7900

2) Optical zoom: 3x

3) Mega pixels: 7.1

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why It's my first digital camera, so I don't have anything to compare it to. If hard pressed, I'd give it an 8 I guess. :confused3

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera I do like this camera. It's lightweight, small and very easy to use. I just wish it had a better zoom.

We have the Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 mega pixels DSC-P200
We did a lot of research on digital cameras before we left last summer for vacation and found this to be a great camera. It can even do video if you have a big enough memory stick.

Lots of good reviews. I would rate it on a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 9 because it has trouble at night with the flash, because it seems underpowered for night time shots, but it still takes nice pics at night.

Ditto for me (except I have some Canon lenses, including the 50 mm prime which is nice). I love my XT and recommend it to anyone who really loves taking pictures. It's not cheap (I got mine as a 30th birthday present) and it's kinda bulky (as are all SLRs), but so worth it if it suits your needs!

Could you show us some of your Disney pics taken with this camera. I am torn between a small pocket-sized camera or a larger one that might give me better photos. I would love to find a small one that takes great pics!

Sure. I am really having problems with this whole uploading and posting pictures thing, so I just uploaded them to a website and then I was going to send the link to everybody, but that isnt working. So....I can send a couple pictures to whoever wants one - just PM me.

Really sorry for all the confusion... :sad2:
