I have a pic of my daughter "sleeping" beside the lego tourist who's snoring outside Lego Store in DTD.

Hope to start some photo traditions now that we are returning in 57 DAYS!!!!!!!

Outside the Haunted Mansion is a great back drop using the old horse drawn "casket carriage" - last year we just stood by it and the pic turned out ok, but this year we might try more of a halloween style picture with a bit more flare and drama.

I thought I read on the posts that if you position the picture just right you can take your picture behind the castle by the fountain and it would look like you had a crown on your head.

We always take pictures wearing all the different hats in the gift stores.

Hi the two we always do year to year is my kids at the entrance of TTC by the purple gates and with Piglet at the Crystal Palace for Breakfast -- I use them to measure how much they have grown for year to year .. my son does like to do the steam roller one . I have used the Log with Pooh in DTD for Christmas photos before.

At the exit area for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, they've added a big statue of Emperor Zurg behind bars (as though he is now in jail) and the bars are wide enough for kids to slip through -- so you can photograph your child in jail with Zurg. You don't have to go on the ride to enter this area (it's also, oh boy, a shop!).

I love taking a picture of my daughter when she is surrounded with stuffed Mickeys (or Minnies) at the toy stores. This was especially cute when she was dressed as Minnie herself.

We have taken pictures of the kids in front of the COP sign. It always has the year on it.

I also have a picture of DS on the speederbike at Star Tours.

Our first trip with DS was in 99 for his 5th birthday, I took a picture with him near the dinosaur at AK, this past year I took another one with just him. It is amazing to see how much he has grown since that first trip.

You have all mentioned some great ones! i also like the lego men in DTD. I have some funny ones w/ the guy on the bench and me blowing a kiss to the cop!!!(LOL)

I also think almost anywhere you go in worldshowcase you can find thousands of great pics...we like the fountain in the back of Italy, the red "english" phonebooth in england, mosaic fountains in morrocco

Couple others come to mind now that I'm posting -

Asian style bike & riding cart outside Kali River Rapids (excellent backdrop there, too)
Cartoon type car as you enter ToonTown - maybe fun for little ones to sit in and pose.

What we will be doing (and even now, long before our trip), which will be a special 'last family vacation' for us because my daughter is graduating from school in Dec (6 months early) is taking her "mascot" with us. Actually we have 2 of them.
My soon-to-be son-in-law is at boot camp (Marines). We have an action figure that looks like him. We take "Tommy Doll" with us just about everywhere, and I pose him in the oddest places and take his picture. We were at a Military Competition last weekend and I got ALL kinds of folks to hold him-even a Policeman! We put him in bushes, on benches, near the car wheels, etc....there was a stryline to everywhere we put him. He will be going to WDW with us and I will ask complete strangers as well as characters to hold and pose with him.
Since this will also double as my daughter's Senior Trip, we are bringing the school mascot-a stuffed eagle- and plan to do the same with him.
I have not had ANYONE turn down my request to pose!!
It is a unique way to bring special touches to the photos from the trip....
