Your best onsite money saving dining tips?

I didn't think this necessarily belonged in the dining forum, but the budget board seems to have trickled more into daily budgets these days.

So, anyway - what are some of your favorite onsite dining money saving tips?

We probably won't do any table service this trip at all due to unexpected financial constraints. We are staying offsite, so certainly your best offsite tips are welcome, too.

(The villa has a kitchen, so I know we'll go to sam's or supertarget to get groceries for breakfast, at very least)

because it's a kids meal - designed for kids under 10 - and the last thing I need, as a mom of 6, is for them to catch on and jack up the prices on the kids meals because adults are taking advantage
