Hello,

As we are now part of DVC, our trips to Disney have increased. We are looking to expand our universe of food places.

Please recommend some of your favorite off site food places, what type of food they serve and your favorite meal there..

Our favorite is Don Pablo and Sonic Burger....

Thanks,
Peteyi

Sonic - Burgers
Checkers - Burgers
Krispy Kreme - Donughts
Ponderosa - Steak but always do Breakfast Buffet
Uno - Italian
Midieval times - Dinner show
Capones - Dinner Show
The worlds largest mcdonalds - mcdees food plus pastas and paninis all in one place.

Arabian Nights, hands down. It was so much better than I expected. Food was good and the show was cute. There are some good coupons out there, too. JMHO... :thumbsup2

CiCi's all you can eat pizza, salad, pasta, dessert. Good price.

Another place all I remember is the name had "Tomato" in it...hopefully someone can help me out here. Was it possibly "Great Tomato" or "Sweet Tomato"? Can't remember for sure. It was also a buffet (seems alot of those in the Orlando area) and it was really a nice place.

Cracker Barrell
Ponderosa for the buffet
Checkers for burgers

I haven't been to the one in Orlando, but Seasons 52. We have one in South Florida and I love it. They have fish, poultry and meat. The desserts are in shotglasses so you just get a taste. All the dishes are under 475 calories. The former chef at California Grill started it.

Bahama Breeze is good.

At Universal's Citywalk, I like Emerils.

Connie, you're thinking of Sweet Tomato. That's another good one. It's a buffet that has a lot of salads, soup, pasta, fruit, frozen yogurt, etc.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is AMAZING! Get the filet mignon!

We went to CiCi's on St. Patrick's Day this year. Probably not the best decision because it was pretty crowded with partygoers from the nearby Irish pub and Hooter's. Anyway, halfway through my first slice of pizza, I bit into a piece of plastic (looked like it was snipped from some type of plastic bag, probably the shredded cheese). I showed it to the manager/franchise owner and he just took it, said "sorry about that" and walked away.

I know that place is super cheap, but I still expected him to do something more - like offer to make me something fresh, or give us some cinnamon rolls to go. After that, we decided not to go back.

The upside to all of this is that we stumbled upon Sweet Tomatoes and LOVED it! They have a huge salad bar, several homemade soups, different kinds of bread, pastas, baked potatoes and a frozen custard machine with toppings. We can't wait to go back when we visit Disney again in September. :thumbsup2

Try Hottie's Donuts - it's in the same complex as CiCi's, Hooter's, and Kobe. They are only open from 7am - 1pm, but they are great for breakfast.

Hello,

Lots of good choices. I do Checkers a lot up here on Long Island. But since we don't have Sonic here up north I do it every chance I get when we come down.

Looks like a lot of votes for Bahama Breeze. Menu looks good. Will try that in October.

Keep them coming.

Giordano's Pizza! There is one located at 7866 W Irlo Bronson Hwy, which is exit 64A from I-4 (opposite direction of Celebration). There now is also one located on 535, north of Hotel Plaza Blvd.

It's a Chicago original!

The Crab House is in this same complex. They have the freshest seafood I have ever eaten. And that is from the buffet. Hmmm. Delicious.

Also, try Pebbles in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

Actually there was nothing wrong with your pizza. You see, At CiCi's, the cheese IS plastic.
