Glad to read all of the good deals people are getting!

I have been to four Targets between yesterday and today and stocked up on clearance books. I have found American Girl library books for 2.23. Lace and Learn books for 2.23. LP and Clifford press a sound books for 2.48. Hardcover chapter books for 2.91. I used my $2 off Target book coupon and got all of these for .23 to .91! Tons of good book deals!

Where did you get the $2 off Target book coupons? I'm just curious because I've never heard of these.

You guys are the best! :cheer2: I got really lucky on Tuesday at TRU thanks to the wonderful people on this board. I went to get the Game Cube bundle- I hadn't been planning on buying much more but ended up in the green tag clearance aisle and then in the B1G1 game dept. When I finally got to the electronics dept, I saw that someone had their friends/family coupon (20% off if you bought $75 or more) on the desk- so I told the salesgirl that I'd be happy to be her friend- She laughed and said ok. The Game cube came with 1 game and the bundle added 3 more so they rang the main unit and the extra games separately but discounted the games to equal the bundle price. The 20% off didn't count towards the main bundle but did take more off of the individual games- so I got the Gamecube and 4 games for ~110. In the green tag (50 % off section) I got a digital Mickey Mouse watch w/ a magnifying glass, Talking GI Joe, Batman/batcave 443 piece Legos set, 4 mini marvel men that included spiderman, 2 boohbah silly sounds, Pez that has edible bubbles instead of the candy and a Pokemon shooty thing. The games were B1G1- operation, hungry hippos, don't wake Daddy and a clue like game. I also bought the game cranium on sale. Then got 20% off all that cause of the friends/family coupon. My DS's bday is 12/28 so we always spend a fortune around Christmas. I spent $209 and saved $161! I'm so thrilled- :cloud9: we're determined to do an all cash, and stay within budget this year and this really will go a long way to making that goal. Thanks Again! :grouphug:

You guys rock! Bargain hunters extraordinare!

I did my "Bargain" thing on Friday. Hit Joanne's Fabrics clearance, which was 50% off the lowest marked price. Got lots of little things. The best thing was a 6 pack of the large pieces of sidewalk chalked marked down from $1 to 12 cents. I bought 9 of them for Christmas stockings and birthday goodie bags. Some Disney themed ribbon ranging from 25 cents to $1 per roll (mostly mickey and pooh). Some scrapping stickers and other misc. I spent over an hour just poking in the clearance junk!

Then over to Building #19 (kind of like an overstock/warehouse/odd lots type place). Got three bottles of Suave Humectant hair stuff (2 conditioner, 1 shampoo) for 69 cents each, 4 7 oz bottles of hand soap for 39 cents each, two bars of Lever 2000 soap for 39 cents each, 2 mini terracotta gingerbread house tealight holders for 29 cents each, LOTS of scrapbooks for $3.98 (EXACT same brand and size I had bought earlier in the week at Michael's for $8.99!!), an 18 oz box of Kix cereal and a 15 oz box of Cheerios for $1.66 each and lots more unspecified good JUNK!

That's it for now!....................P

I had a great bargain week here in VA too. The Toys R Us Coupons were great. On Saturday I went back one more time. Our Toys R Us had the new Halloween Heffalump Movie on sale for $7.49 (had been $14.99). I had a $3.00 coupon for any Disney DVD so it made the DVD $4.49!! At Target I found the Go Go TV Whack a Mole Cartridge for $4.98. It was originally $19.99. I also found a great shower curtain on clearance for $12.99 that was originally $24 something. To end my bargain hunting day I went in Goodwill for a few minutes. I rarely get a chance to go there, but my Mother was with me and she loves Goodwill. Anyway, I found an adorable white desk with 4 drawers for $26.95!! It reminds me so much of Pottery Barn things and after a fresh coat of paint it will be perfect in DD5's room.

I found a good deal at BBW. I went in last night and bought:
AG 4 pack of lotion $15
AG brush $5
2 AG books $18
lotion $12.50

They let me use the $10/$35 coupon and the free lotion on $20 purchase. For some reason the free lotion took off $15 and not $12.50. I also received free with purchase a mini AG calendar. Inside the calendar there are 8 coupons for free with purchase AG products. My daughter and I went back today. She bought a lip gloss for $4.50 and used the free shampoo coupon and got another calendar with more coupons. I bought a trial size lotion and used my coupon for a free conditioner and also got another calendar with more coupons. I wonder how many times I will do this this week?!
