Youngest DS is now a WDW Cast Member.

We helped him and his DW move from Pennsylvania to their new apartment, which is 15 minutes from Disney World, on April 4th.
Naturally, we managed to get a few days vacation in while we were there....

DS started working on April 10th. He is presently working Maintenance/Custodial in the Magic Kingdom. In his calls home, he has told us of various "Casting Calls" that have been posted. He is hopeful of being selected for an opening in Guest Relations as his degree is in Cmmuncations & Public Relations.

BTW...we are going to visit DS & DDIL in late October...looking forward to seeing them!

Hi...&...thanks...it's good to be back ( i was catching up on the posts...not really sure about the tag fairy.....lol) Good to see you too RouteMan Dan!

is: I was busy / working too lame an excuse for being gone from the DIS as long as i was?

I will say that January, February & March seemed so busy. Besides the never-ending winter, the kids flew down and spent at least a week each of those months apartment hunting and getting ready for the move. Plus, while there, DS workd at WDW as a continuation of the College Internship Program.

The arrangements with the Moving Company and making arrangements with my Car-haulng trucker friend to get DS's car to Florida and the "See you ASAP" party with my oldest DS and DD and their families was how we spent the last 2 weeks of March and the first few days of April.

Phone calls & snail mails keep us all in touch and it shouldn't be too much longer before the kids in FL are online....

in closing" We are all so proud of him...he was 5 years old when he first told us he was going to work there.....his dreams came true....
