So I'm watching Dr. Phil and he's talking about how teenagers will find ways to have sex at school dances??

Uhm.. I am like baffled right now. I could NOT imagine being there dancing and looking over at a guy and a girl having sex.. right there!

They said the girls wouldn't wear underwear and while they were dancing the girl would just pull her dress up and the guy would... ya know.

Seriously? WTH!!

I would feel so embarrassed for both of them. That is completely disgusting for anyone to do that.

A school in Texas found condoms and girls panties on the dance floor after the dance. That's where it all started..

I want to throw up right now.

To tell you the honest truth, im not surprised at all. Not exactly the most discrete or sanitary place to "get it on" if you ask me. But its whatever to me. Its what teenagers do...its like drinking and smoking and such. As much as people seem to hate it and try to "fix it" the more exciting it becomes. If parents were more open and honest and weren't so secluded from the dreaded "s-word" when the kids were coming of age, we would have a lot less teen pregnancy.

when i was in high school kids would get caught having sex in one of the school bathrooms, like during the school day. i'm sure it happened at the dances too.

It happened ALL of the time when I was in high school (I went to an upper-middle class high school about 10 years ago). My friends and I would joke you could probably catch an STD just going out on the dance floor. I don't know if the administrator's/chaperones at the dances didn't know it was going on or were turning their heads. But it all came to light when our yearbook staff was taking pictures of people out on the dance floor for yearbook and a picture was put in the year book and in the far off background of the picture you can see a couple having sex .

i was SO naive when i was younger, i never ever would've even thought that was happening. just liked i'm shocked when i hear that my boyfriend drank and smoked when he was in grade 7!!!! i was still playing barbies! while all my friends started having sex and smoking weed in grade 9-10 and i was SO oblivious and didn't even realize it was happening!

Yep. It's been known to have sex in the bathrooms at school. My friends mom was a substitute teacher and walked in on quite a few people.

It's gross. Like, at least make it to a bathroom if you HAVE to do it. But on a dancefloor is just gross. I guess some people get off from people watching them though. It's disgusting.

This happens at my school dances. At the begining of the school year I went to a dance and two GIRLS were having sex over in the corner( a bunch of guys were crowded around watching D: ) . Then in another corner a guy and a girl are. I deff. felt embarrassed for both people.

what blows my mind is that kids are having sex in cars in the parking lot, the bathroom, and right out on the dance floor, but my school still ONLY taught abstinence only sex ed. oh, and there were three pregnant girls in my homeroom of 15 people my senior year.

yeah, abstinence sex ed sure is working.

this makes me giggle because I go to a Catholic all girls school and in Health class (which we are required to take), we learn all about contraceptives

What we need to do(as a culture) is not make sex seem like its a sin or that it just doesnt happen at all. I know parents dont want to think their baby boy or girl is growing up and having these feelings, but you cant just pretend that they arn't there. Then kids never learn about how to protect themselves and just hump anything that moves because it feels good.

i live smack dab in the middle of the bible belt and my sex ed teacher (had six kids, all girls, and two of them were teen mothers) wouldn't talk about condoms in class because, and i quote, "they don't prevent all stds"

uh, no, but they prevent pregnancy! and AIDS!

she was infuriating.

People do it for attention, and it's quite pathetic.
