WE fly out Dec 19th, and that is the day our ds turns 4 (where has these last 4 yrs gone??:confused3 )
We fly out around 4ish that afternoon, so we need to be back to the resort around noon I think. So breakfast is what we can manage.

So far these are our reservations...and we don't have park Hoppers, so it's hard to stray. I did think it would be great to go to CRT the day we fly out. NOt very boyish at all. Selfishly I just really want to go! They are booked solid so far.

sat 13th DAY 0-MGM(closes at 8)
1900 park -445pm

Sun 14th DAY 1-Epcot
CORAL REEF 11:55
ROSE AND CROWN 9:00 pm

Mon 15th DAY 2 Magic Kingdom 9-9
The Crystal Palace with Winnie The Pooh 8:05am
Pecos Bills
LTT 825pm

Tues 16th DAY 3-Holly Wood Studios 9-8
Hollywood and Vine 815
Sci Fi 1125
Toy Story Pizza planet

Wed 17th DAY 4 Animal Kingdom 9-8
Chef Mickeys 720am
Tusker House Buffet Lunch 1130
Flame Tree BBQ

Thur 18th DAY 5
Ohana 1050
Earl of Sandwich or Wolf Gang Pucks Express

Fri 19th DAY 6-Flying out at 4pm
Arkershus 1015

--I can switch around what we do Thur and Fri for dining as they are sort of floater days (well Fri morn) I just switched our Story Book princess from Thurs lunch to Fri breakfast so that we could do Ohana breakfast on Thurs (which I think DS will love)

But are there any other places, chracter or non that would be better than Arkershus for ds? I can squeeze Arkershus in somewhere else perhaps... Oh my.

Should I even worry about it? We have so many other great reservations! I just wish they had boyish themed ones. He loves Power Rangers(even though he has never seen a show!) and he loves star wars (gets his nerdism from his daddy *cough* maybe mommy too *cough*)I already have Chef Mickeys which he is more excited to see the monorail going through than the characters. (he is very technically inclined...not like mommy!)

I thought about ordering a cake for him, but if we are on the dlx dining plan, seems like SO much food to order a cake!

Anyway, if you have any thoughts or ideas. Even non restaurant, that we could do for him that would be just a little piece of special for him...just let me know!

Safari Breakfast in Animal Kingdom or Cape May Breakfast at the Beach Club. I would probably go with Cape May because you pick up Chip and Dale. It also gives an option on parks since it is a resort.

I am taking my boys to CRT for their b-day next month, they are not into princesses but they sure do love that castle, we will also be on the dxddp and am not ordering a cake due to too much food, but they do not really care for cake and absolutely love funnel cakes so I am getting them each a funnel cake with strawberries and whipped topping and using those as their bday cakes to sing to them.

I know that I know what funnel cake is, but my brain is drawing a blank! Where do you get those? Is it something you order?

Oh that is very cool! So will you pick those up at the bakery, bring them along, and hand them to the server to plate and bring at dessert time?

they are served at sleepy hallow http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/MK.htm
gold M on this map, we have a late dinner reservation during MNSSHP party and I wanted to give them to them at their actual time of birth (they asked to see their birth certificate the other day and have been sort of obsessed lately with the time of their birth) which is before our meal. I guess you could call CRT and see if they would do that for you but I really don't think the strawberries and whipped topping would hold up during your meal.

I would say Cape May too, although now that it was just announced that Donald Duck is going to be there starting September 28th, I wonder if Chip and Dale are still going to be there?? A couple of months ago I read a post where someone said it was rumored that they were going to take them away from Cape May. I hope not, especially with the LTT and GG changes. Chip and Dale would be great for a 4 year old!:)

Ok that is food for thought! ;)
We have a previous breakfast at Chef Mickeys. So what characters are there? I just assumed Donal Duck would be there. Not that it makes a huge difference..i just assumed.

SInce you listed WPE, I assume you are going to DTD. I would think a 4 yr old boy could have a blast just going to the Lego store- maybe picking out a special lego toy. Then, following it with a special ice cream treat at Ghiradelli's or a special birthday Candry treat at Goofy's... I bet he would be much more excited about this than a princess meal.

Does he like dinosaurs?

If so, maybe you could give T-Rex a try. It's brand new - scheduled to open in late October. It's in Downtown Disney.

Might be worth checking out. It would definitely be something different.

LOL yeah, I asked him if he would like to get his picture taken with the princesses and he said no, he wasn't a princess. OMG i laughed! :lmao: That is an awesome idea! Absolutely! He would go gaga for the Lego and Goofy's make it yourself treats! He has seen pictures. Great idea!

OOOHHHH! That would be "COOOOL!" as he would put it! I will look into that for sure! He isn't nuts for Dinosaurs, but he definitely likes them. I wonder if the menus are posted on Allears yet.
