I don't care for the new Billy either. I told my mother yesterday that he just seemed to have one expression.....a big scowl on his face. He doesn't seem to have any personality. Maybe he'll grow on me.

I had some age issues again yesterday with the son of the concentration camp leader. Even is he was an infant after the war, no way that actor was over 60! I guess since they cast the mom as such a youthful 90 year old they had to follow suit with the son of the leader.

I know, do they think we are stupid!

Now with John brain dead at Memorial, I suspect Sharon and Nick will reunite after the tragedy. He will come clean that the baby is jack's, not his. Then before long Phyllis will give birth to a 19 year old son in a European boarding school that was named after John.

or maybe in true soap opera fashion he will just grow......grow to be a 40 year old business man overnight. Probably grow to fall in love with someone who turns out to be related to him.

From Soap Central. Jack intentionally makes Gloria miss John's funeral.

On September 1st Jerry Douglas will reprise his role as John when John appears to Jack as a ghost to reprimand him for his treatment of Gloria.

The role of Brad's mother has been recast and new actress will appear on 9/18.

Colleen wants to get in touch with her Jewish roots and a professor has been cast who help Colleen do so. His first air date is 9/18.

I was rooting for Phyllis and Nick to be together but now I want Nick and Sharon back together and Phyllis and Jack back together.

I've been home sick all week so I've gotten to actually watch the show instead of recording it and watching the whole week on Sunday. I'm going to have serious withdrawals next week.

New to this thread but not so new to Y&R. After reading this thread, I've been watching Y & R for the past week or two after being away for many many years. Sadly, I picked right up on it as if I had never missed and episode. Anyway, just wanted to put my 2 cents in on how sad today's episode was.

I sat here crying like a baby. The song....Jack being there at the end all alone....

It was perfect. The entire moment was perfect. Then, showing the baby (which could still be Jack's).....amazing.

I might watch it again tonight on SoapNet.
