Anyone else think this Daniel and Heather thing is alittle creepy?? I was already feeling this about Cain and Lily, but this is really  Maybe because she is the Asst DA??

Thanks for all the tidbits and theories everyone! It's really helped satisfy my Y&R addiction. The replacement DVR for my dead TIVO didn't arrive until after we left for WDW so I couldn't set anything to record. When we got back and the new one was activated, it was a dud! The fan wasn't working so it would shut down after 30 mins. and had to wait for it to cool down enough to watch again so I couldn't even get all of the repeats from the soap channel. They actually sent the technician out on Sunday with another replacement! I was a little lost watching yesterday and today, but now ya'll have caught me up just fine. Thanks so much!

David...dirtbag! I think he's scamming Nikki to get at Victor's cash! I've never carried for the character...a little too shady. I'm convinced he is who killed JiMin.

Daniel & Heather? Well, at first I thought it was kinda weird, but the more they interact, the more I like it. It's about time she wasn't such a sourpuss.

Dear Jack? I don't really care for him...always been underhanded in his dealings, but Sharon needs to get her head straight! Either be with Jack or let him nurse his broken heart, but quit sitting on the fence with ol' Brad, the pool boy. I'm so glad that Colleen ratted out her dad to Uncle Jack! The chemistry between Sharon and pool boy is more heated...spicy! Jack is kinda boring in that area...lol

"Got Disney"...well, you got it right about Kevin! I have never bought in on the idea that he loved her, hated her, wanted to kill, now can't wait to marry her and spend eternity with her thing. He's as screwy as him momma so I wouldn't hold this past him.

And speaking of his wacked out momma...Gloria has really gotten herself into a fine mess with Jeff! I just love watching them sparring with one another!

And when for heaven's sake is Victoria gonna wake up? I know in real life people can stay like that forever, but if we were really applying soap years to this time frame, the poor girl would be a grandma by now.

Victor? Momma always said...what goes around comes around and I think old Vic is starting to get some back. Sad that he can't even see the forest for the trees here...the family really does love him...even Nikki, but he's such a pootiehead that he won't change.

Did anyone else notice that they finally showed a close up of Reed? (Maybe they did last week, but I missed it then.) Before they always showed distant shots or from the back of him. He's a cutie!

OK, couple of thoughts on today's episode:

First, loved the scene where Victor fired Nick. I think this may be Eric Braeden's year for an Emmy! :thumbsup2 (And, DUH! to all of us who couldn't figure our Victor's revenge on Nick- the Victor conviction for corporate badness a few years ago- remember the youth center he created??)

Second, loved Sharon's nightgown on her business trip. I remember back in my pre-Mommy days when I traveled for business I ALWAYS brough lingerie to sleep in

Third, Lilly's little rant about needing her freedom and getting her own place :sad2: Then get a job and pay for your own place!! Either that or hit the dorms like all the other college kids do. I love that she wants to "grow up on her own" but on Daddy's dime :rolleyes1

I so agree on the Lilly note. she is so witchie with a b!;)
I love that Shaorn told Brad to go but I hate her and jack together-does that make sense?
the person I dis like the most is David:headache: I cant stand him and his beady little eyes...BLECK can you say money grubber?
I heard that Nicholas aka- Joshua Morrow got fired, is it true? he gives the show its hotness he cant go...

The Judge grants Nikki and Victor's divorce. Nikki gets a very hefty financial settlement while Victor only gets ownership of NVP. Both Nikki and Victor get a chance to address the court. According to Melody Thomas Scott "Victor is more vicious in his request while Nikki simply wants to maintain some dignity."

Meanwhile David pushes Nikki for a wedding date and meets with the mysterious man who's been hounding him for money and promises to pay up within two weeks. The man calls David "Scott" and wonders if Nikki knows what "Scott" is up to.

Prior to going to court Nikki gets the opportunity to hold Reed. MTS is quoted that it was an "unbelievable moment in her life." She said it is even more meaningful to do the scenes because the babies playing Reed are indeed premies and are so small and delicate. MTS said she was already crying naturally and then during the scene the baby smiled and she fell apart which fit perfectly into the scene.

"Nick" got fired-not Josh Morrow.

Also, Victor Jr. has been cast and starts filming soon.

Interesting....

Hey, whatever happened to Summer not really being Nick's?? When do you think that story line is coming??

This rumor is floating around at the soapcentral boards:

Nick has selective amnesia because he doesn't want to remember Cassie's death. Something traumatic is going to make his memory come back, and it will be revealed that he lied about the test results. He wanted a baby girl to replace Cassie, and was willing to hurt anyone to get her. Phyllis has no idea Summer is Jack's.

Victor's other son returns, Victor Jr.

* Nikki learns something unexpected about her fiance, David Chow.

* Jack, Nick and Phyllis go into business together, which doesn't make Victor very happy.

* Lily and Cane get more involved just as Lily's modeling career takes off, which could lead her to places she's better off not going.

* Jack and Sharon are forced to share the Abbott Mansion with Jeff and Gloria, which does not go smoothly to say the least.

* Gloria's plan to turn the tables on Jeff backfires.

* Michael fights to dismiss the murder charge against Victor. Michael and Lauren are pulled deeper into Gloria's mess.

* Victoria wakes and is reunited with her baby. She plans her wedding with J.T.

* As his love life and career seem to disintegrate, Brad might just become a bad boy again. Wait, isn't he one already?

* Amber and Daniel's friendship takes a surprising turn. Amber finds an unexpected ally in Katherine, who needs Amber to keep a secret.

* Victoria receives a visit from an old friend from the art world, who just might wind up being a potential love interest for dear old Dad.

This was being discussed on other boards. David gets called Scott-Julia left Victor for a man whose last name was Scott, so everyone is wondering if that is signifiant.

Please let her be a much older friend!

Thank goodness Victoria is finally waking up! I'm sick of seeing her laying there, although Nick's talks with her are pretty cute.

I can't imagine Y&R without Kay! If this is her choice, more power to her-at 80 she deserves it. But if it isn't I don't think I can watch the show anymore! I hope to hear more soon.

I thought this was interesting (from soapcentral.com):

An "aged" Victor Newman, Jr., will be returning home to Genoa City next month. Now in his 20s, Victor Jr. was only a toddler when last seen on-screen. Newcomer Chris Engen has landed the contract role.

After a nearly 10-year absence from The Young and the Restless canvas, Victor Newman, Jr., is returning to Genoa City. Rumors of the character's return have been making the rounds on the 'net for some time, but now the CBS soap is finally confirming the news.

Viewers will need to suspend some disbelief when Victor Jr. finally does return to the screen. When last seen on-screen in 1998, Victor Jr. was a pre-schooler played by Hayden Tank. Last year, however, the character was "aged" off-screen as a device to usher Victor out of the show's storylines for several weeks. The exit was necessary to allow actor Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) to have some time off from Y&R's shooting schedule to film the movie The Man Who Came Back.

During that time, Victor Jr. was said to be in trouble somewhere in the South Pacific. Reliable sources also indicated that the hinted reintroduction of the Victor Junior character was intended as a safety net in case Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) did not re-sign his contract with the show. Morrow did eventually re-up and plans to reintroduce Victor Jr. were shelved.
This time around, 27-year-old actor Chris Engen has been tapped to take on the role of Victor and Hope Adams' only child. Quick math reveals that the character should only be nearing high school age in the real world. However, the writers' decision last year to fudge Victor Jr.'s age now allows them to explore alternate story ideas.

Though a newcomer to daytime television, Engen already has amassed an impressive acting portfolio. He appeared in recurring roles on Felicity and As If. More recently, Engen co-starred in the primetime series, Saints & Sinners. Not limited to a single medium, Engen has also appeared in a handful of feature films. He recently wrapped production on the indie-release God's Ears.

:scared1: NO!!!!

Kay has always been my favorite! She has brought so much to Y&R over the many years that I just can't imagine it without her! I remember the first time I saw her on the show way back in the 70s. Jill had just married Phillip and Kay was suppose to be missing or dead...not sure about that part cause I didn't watch it before. Anyway, Jill was in the bedroom and Kay walks in...Jill thought she was seeing a ghost, backed up against the wall and starts working her way around the room saying the Lord's Prayer. The whole time Kay was giving her a piece of her mind for what Jill had done. :happytv: Classic daytime drama!!!

I did wonder if they were gonna give Kay a health problem because when she, Cane and Jill were getting ready to leave the coffee house Kay stumbled a bit and they both asked if she was okay. Kay played it off as she was just fine...only lost her balance. So, maybe they are giving her some dreadful disease that isn't curable and she'll have a great death with lots of flashbacks by the cast and her on her deathbed.

All I know is that if she goes, then they had better give her a BIG send off!

:faint: First John and now her?? I guess I am going to need to stock up on Kleenex again because when John left (and Cassie too, for that matter) I cried like a baby!!

Can I just say that Paul's daughter, whose name I cannot recall, is not even remotely believeable as an assistant D.A.? Thank you.

Love all info!

Personally, I can't wait for Nick & Phyllis to be over. I can't stand them as a couple - icky.
