I'm not quite sure I get this but I don't know about Jewish funerals either. Anybody know and can explain?

Yes, I was wondering as well and so I googled it.....

There are two reasons for covering mirrors during shiva.

First, mourners should not have to be concerned about their personal appearance. No one should expect them to look their best at a time when they feel their worst. In fact, the tradition suggest that mourners should be conscious of the fact that, for at least a week, all their normal priorities have changed, and appearance is nowhere on the list of things that are important at such a time.

The other consideration is that, for the same reason one may not have or use a mirror in the sanctuary of a synagogue, one may not have a mirror in a room where people will pray. It is considered idolatrous to look at a representation of a human being during prayer, when our thoughts should be directed only to God.

Is is sad that everything I know about Jewish funerals I learned from Natalie on Facts of Life! I remember them covering the mirrors when her dad died.

Did you read tomorrow's spoiler? I posted it earlier today. There is word going around that the mystery woman is Jack's new love interest.

Its really unclear as to why Sharon too the elephant. My guess is she just wanted something to remember him by. I'm hoping they shed some light on it too because it was really unlike Sharon!

Doris Collins looked lovely! I have always loved their relationship. I was so happy to see Sharon turn straight to her mom

Wasn't that the elephant Victoria just said told JT she gave to Brad when they were married?? Ya one of the spoilers is Sharon's meltdown or breakdown...maybe this is the start of it.

I know I really enjoyed the scenes with him and Tracy by the pool. I'm so glad they used some of the show's history, even if they kept making that silly Navy Seal reference!

With all the years he was on you would have thought that they would have shown more past scened of him....but they showed like what maybe 5

But, didn't Chloe's baby's dna test show that Cane and Billy have to be brothers (or the test would not have any indicators that Cane was a possible match). I think it will possibly prove Jill is not Kay's DD, which would mean Kay has another child out there somewhere...

The woman on the phone sounded like Dianne Jenkins to me! When I was watching it, I was thinking, why is he talking to Dianne?

I was thinking about that too, but so much of his storyline with Ashley through the years was with a different "Ashley" (weren't there at least 3 other actresses playing her over the years?) I wonder if that is part of it...
