Would it be possible that Adrian could publish his book with Brad dead? Would defamation of character or whatever Brad used to stop the book distribution become moot when he died? That would probably be upsetting for Colleen and Granny.

Since the actress playing Abby is only 14, I wouldn't think Devon would be in her near future. My first thought was bringing back Kyle, but he would be her 1st cousin. Noah is her nephew. Maybe Paul's son could come back to town? I really can't think of anyone else, unless they bring in a new character.

That is how they get away with the missing characters, the dropped story lines, the rapidly aging children, the forgotten spouses. ..... They just tell Nick to take his clothes off and run around for a few minutes.

Colleen gets news that Brad's will reading will take place next week. She spends time w/ Traci, Lily and Ashley while Abby chooses to grieve by herself. Gloria tries to convince Kevin to help her get Katherine on her side. Victor puts the second part of his plan into action, this time a woman is involved. Her face is not shown. Billy is surprised when Jill tells him he'll be CEO of Jabot and that he can keep Jack and Ashley as they make a good team and are doing well. Cane walks in after Billy leaves, he isn't pleased to learn Billy will be CEO of Jabot. Jill says she tried to change her silent partner's mind but had no luck. Chloe battles w/ her conscience (they come in the form of Billy and Cane) Both telling her Billy and Cane should know the truth, Chloe is fearful of that though believing Cane is the best father for her daugther while Billy is not. Jack is shocked and pissed when Gloria tells him she sold her stock to someone else. Later, he tells his sisters while Billy tells them about his new job at Jabot. Jack and Billy are convinced Victor is behind all this but Ashley and Traci don't believe it.

Next -- Michael and Amber tell Katherine the judge granted her DNA test; Jill refuses to get a DNA test done; Phyllis confides in Michael about Nick admitting to loving both her and Sharon
