Adam's Lies Are Exposed!

This week, Ashley continues to have nightmares because she's convinced that she hit a not-so-dead Sabrina with her car. However, after Victor assures Ashley that Sabrina is really dead, Ashley confronts Adam about his deception.

"Adam is definitely worried about all of his lies catching up with him," nods Michael Muhney. "At this point, he's trying to continue with his plan, but also keep himself from getting caught. he likes Ashley, and in another situation wouldn't be doing these things to her. But he wants to get at Victor and is going through Ashley to do it."

When Paul accuses Victor of being the one who brought Patty Jane to town, Adam defends his papa. Hmm... strange. "Adam defending Victor is kind of like when someone else picks on your sibling," laughs Muhney. "You're like, 'Only I can make fun of him.' Adam wants to be the one to bring him down."

Meanwhile, by week's end, Ashley begins to remember what happened the night she was driving in the rain -- and who she really hit.

Fall Preview

"There are a lot of stories that are going to converge and a life-shattering event," teases Co-Head Writer Scott Hamner. "Numerous stories are going to interconnect."

Nick/Phyllis/Sharon: "Consequences are going to be very, very extreme for Sharon. She's reunited with Nick and it seems as if they are finally going to get back together and realize the dream they had when they were high school sweethearts. And it's going to completely fall apart. There are going to be some manipulations by the people around her, which ends up creating a series of events that is going to ultimately make her a different, stronger character. When the truth comes out eventually about why she has made the decisions that she's made, she's going to be seen in a very, very different light. It's going to cost her emotionally and physically and it's going to dramatically alter her love interests. Things are going to get switched around with some very surprising new love interests."

Victor/Jack/Mary Jane and the Life-Shattering Event: "As Mary Jane continues to come unglued, she's going to become more and more dangerous: the unpredictability of her moods and her actions are going to escalate. It's going to be taking us back to the epic feud and rivalry between Jack and Victor. The fights between the two giants, between Victor and Jack which is so central to the show, is going to be taken to kind of a new place. The consequences of Victor bringing her to town will impact everybody on the canvas in a way that I believe is as dramatic as you can get. It's not just going to change the circumstances of people's lives. It's really going to change people on a very internal and elemental level."

Adam/Ashley: "He's going to do some more really terrible things. But even as he's doing them, we're going to see how this bothers him because he attacks the people that he cares about the most. He is out to really injure Victor as badly as he possibly can and at the same time, he craves his approval and wants his love. So, we're going to see him struggle with that. As for Adam and Rafe, "I don't see a future for them," says Hamner. "We were never actually doing a gay story. We were playing the lengths to which he will go to accomplish his goals."

Billy/Chloe/Chance/Mac/The Chancellors: "Chloe is now using Chance to get Billy to be jealous. And Chance is just as opposite to the kind of guy that Chloe could ever imagine she would be interested in. Chloe is going to discover that her plan is backfiring because she is starting to fall for Chance."

Gloria/Jeff/Kevin/Michael: "Jeff and Gloria are going to outdo themselves, if that's even possible. It's going to appear to them that they have found a way to win their fortune back. It's going to be a lot of fun to see what they bring on themselves as a result of their own sneakiness and conniving. They are their own worst enemies. But I think people are going to enjoy seeing them suffer the consequences of their actions."

Seriously? Nick is going to leave Phyllis yet again? C'mon, this is getting so silly, beyond a love triangle. I don't even know if I'm going to keep watching the show with this going on. If he does leave her, I hope the old Phyllis comes back and makes him pay for it in a number of weird and gross ways! :scared1:

Sharon asks Nick to keep her secret about her baby's paternity;

Billy and Tracy get a new doctor to examine Ashley;

Patty takes Colleen hostage.

OK ...so we know Victor brought MJ back so that she could bring down Jack.....but what was Victor expecting her to do after she got close to Jack? Victor ddnt know she was unstable. I still dont get this storyline.

If Nick leaves Phyllis again...for Sharon...there shd be a Lorena Bobbitt style storyline!!!

How does Jill figure into this? Doesnt she tell Glo & Jeff to cut her in on the deal?:headache:

I got from reading the fall preview that this already has happened and fallen apart. It seems that they have put together the summers end into Fall together. So, I dont think they get back together again and fall apart again.

Victor has himself in a bind. I hope he does some jail time if he gets caught. Wonder if he still has a heart attack and gets Colleens heart?

If not the man has done to many bad things in his life and gotten away with it. I use to like Victor. Not anymore.

•Nick tells Phyllis about his visit with Sharon, she admits she knows about it as she was there too. Phyllis gets a call, there's a clinic overseas that can help Summer. Meanwhile, Noah asks Nick if he can attend Walnut Grove w/ Abby but Nick wants to talk to Sharon first before making a decision, Phyllis tells him to go
•Sharon is refusing therapy causing her therapist to remind her if she doesn't hold her her end of the deal, she'll go to jail. Doris hears this and tries to get through to Sharon who confides in her mom about who really fathered her child, Sharon asks that Doris not tell anyone - too late Nick has heard everything!
•Jack talks to Patty, he doesn't believe she's pregnant as in the past it was learned she could not get pregnant. Jack tries to get through to her, while this happens Jeffrey and Gloria scheme. Patty ends up talking to the nun not realizing it's actually Gloria. Later, Chance and the rest of the gang look for Jack and Patty - they are gone!

Next -- Nick confronts Sharon, she tries to lie but Nick gets angry and tells her not to; Paul gets arrested; Ashley asks Adam to leave her room (they were talking about something and it upset her)

I'm so grateful for tivo!!! I FF through most of the show now. It takes me about 13 minutes to watch the whole hour program. My son loves it!!! lol! I cannot stand Sharon, Jack, Nick, Phyllis, Kevin, Jana, Daniel, Amber, Deacon, JT, Victoria, Neil, Devon...pretty much just watching Cane, Lilly, Catherine, Billy and Chloe for now.

Ugh maybe he made a pass at her - I wouldn't put it past this crazy storyline. The other day when she was thanking him for telling her how to act when the psych doc was there - it creeped me out - he opened the door to her room & she was all giddy & patting her bed like "come hither" blech!

Drucilla Scoop:

http://www.soapcentral.com/yr/news/2009/0824-rowell.php

I hope Rowell comes back. Fingers crossed!!

VICTORIA ROWELL—I also heard from a non-soap source that she’s been in talks with the writers @ Y&R and she may actually return as Dru!!!! I’d have loved to see Tamara Tunie although she’s too old I think…maybe just too mature to play Dru. I cant imagine Tichina Arnold as Dru, although I think she can definitely pull off the personality/attitude, I cant imagine her meshing with Neil or Lily!

Well, now, reading the story about Dru sure doesn't make me like "Phyllis" any more than I already did. Oh, wait, I didn't like her anyway!! :rotfl2:

In reality, that was really rude of her to even think someone would find that funny.

Why did Lily say Cane lied to her about sleeping with Chloe? He said he was drunk and did not remember, could not figure what was going on there. That will definitely stink if Nick goes back to Sharon,,I am so tired of her. Glad Jack finally got over her.

Because he always knew he was not the real Philip. So his DNA could never have been a real match. He was giving Philip/Langly's blood for all DNA tests.

If Cloe's baby had and Chancelor DNA it couldn't have come from Cane.

Victor/Jack/Mary Jane and the Life-Shattering Event: "As Mary Jane continues to come unglued, she's going to become more and more dangerous: the unpredictability of her moods and her actions are going to escalate. OK ...but I still don’t get why Victor brought MJ back in the 1st place! Was it ever explained? She was supposed to wreak havoc for Jack, right??...but how?? What was Victor expecting her to do after she got close to Jack? I’m pretty sure Victor ddnt know she was unstable. Does ANYONE know??

I do just have to say that the real kitty that MJ was holding today was just the sweetest little thing. Okay thats all!

With Ashley being tormented by nightmares, Victor decides to take matters into his own hands this week and help her face the harsh reality.

"Victor realizes that he has to take the bull by the horns. he doesn't believe Ashley's crazy; he thinks that for whatever reason, she is just not thinking right, and that if he forces her to see the reality of the situation, she'll be fine," sets up Eileen Davidson.

"He basically makes her go through all the clippings of Sabrina's death, and he talks through all of what had happened when Sabrina died and proves to Ashley that Sabrina is dead. She is buried, she is gone. That seems to have an effect on Ashley. She seems to register that, 'Okay, Sabrina must be dead and I must not be acting right. I'm out of my mind.'"

Finally realizing that Sabrina is really dead, Ashley confronts Adam about why he lied to her. "She wants to know why Adam let her believe Sabrina wasn't dead. He says, 'I thought you believed that I was just trying to support you,'" recounts Davidson. "Then he goes, 'I don't know what to make of you. You are angry when people think you're out of your mind and then, when I side with you and think that you are NOT out of your mind, you're angry ith me. So what is it that you want?' That is a great answer," points out Davidson.

Unfortunately, Ashley's new-found spine disappears in less than a minute. Once again, she becomes confused and starts questioning her own wishy-washy behavior. Does she want Adam to support her or not? "She doesn't know who to trust anymore."

There's one person she can trust above all others: her sister Traci. When Traci makes a surprise visit to Genoa City, that's exactly who Ashley turns to. "Traci comes to see how she is doing and believes she is okay; Ashley convinces her that she is okay, but then Ashley has a realization."

A realization that could change everything...

•Nick confronts Sharon hurt that she kept the truth from him, that she chose to lie and how it will affect people. Nick wants to tell Phyllis the truth but he can't as the psych ward goes into lockdown - no one is allowed to leave as a patient tried to escape. Nick calls and tells Phyllis about the lockdown
•Things get chaotic now that Patty is on the loose, Paul faces arrest when he continues to butt heads with the other officers
•Gloria and Jeff have kidnapped Patty and are on the run from the cops, they hear Jack on the radio - he's doubling Victor's offer to get Patty back - $2 million!
•Victor shows Ashley proof that Sabrina is dead which leads Ashley to confront Adam about his lies
•Phyllis gets furious with Jack after learning Mary Jane is Patty, his ex wife. Jack believes Victor is the one who brought Patty back, this makes Phyllis even angrier!

Next - Cane notices that Lily has a high fever, she doesn't look good; Nick tells Sharon that Phyllis needs to know the truth, she deserves to hear it from him; Gloria takes Patty someplace she claims Patty will have her wedding
