Sharon was really young when she had Cassie (like 16?) and gave her up for adoption. She ended up with a really rotten single woman, who left Cassie to be raised by her elderly mother. When Noah was born, he was really premature and they thought he would die. Grace was her best friend and went looking for Cassie to try to soften the blow of losing Noah. But when she returned Noah had survived, so she didn't tell Sharon for a long time who Cassie was.

That is why I want Sharon to have one normal, healthy pregnancy! She gave up Cassie, almost lost Noah, then did lose the baby girl later on, then Cassie died!

OMG is anyone else's head spinning from all this info? I know mine is! Sadly I don't recall many of these stories. I do remember when Lauren entered Paul's naked photo in the contest, and I remember crazy Sean that was trying to kill Lauren - he was hot! I remember when Michael was just as nuts as his brother Kevin & had dug a tunnel to Cricket's apartment - but also don't remember him murdering anyone.

I'm enjoying reading the old storylines - nice memories! I especially enjoyed the pics of Brian Bloom. I had pics of him in my room from Tiger Beat, etc. He is still easy on the eyes.

Jess was Kelly on Capitol, but no mention of her on ATWT. She was so pretty then. I think she was a hooker. She was dating some hotshot's son (I think he was a senator) and got pregnant. But I'm thinking the baby ended up being the senator's-he was one of her clients if I'm remembering right.

One of the old Margos looks a little like her. The one that played Jeff Goldblums ex and the president's assistant in Independence Day. Margo is a cop.

Margaret Colin is the Margo I'm talking about. I just looked her up. I didn't know that she was married to Justin Deas (Buzz on GL). He played Tom when she was Margo, and they met and fell in love on the set!

OMG yes to the Jess Walton/Kelly/Capitol story! Didn't Grant Aleksander (Philip GL) leave GL after a billion years to go to Capitol - I think I remember him & Jess Walton on there....now if someone can find the YouTube clip of that I'd love it!

What, where, when, how is Nikki being written off ?? I must have missed a bunch of pages here.. She's been on the show since - well - forever! I started watching this show from day one (yes - I'm "old" - LOL)..

This is only partially correct.....Doug Davidson started on Y&R in 1978(two years before Michael Damain started as Danny).....they did work as waiters in a club with Andy Richards(played by Steven Ford) I believe.....Danny actually had a crush on Patty but she was only interested in an older man Jack Abbott after doing some modeling for Jabot....please correct my memory if I'm incorrect....I started to watch Y&R in college in 1980 after seeing a picture of Danny.

life sucks when you can't gets hundreds of thousands a show doesn't' it.

i like her as nikki but i can't sympathize with all these acters getting their nickers in a knot because they didn't get a raise. HELLO

Now I'll comment on Nicki.. LOL Her story lines have been boooooring.. Her and Paul are one of the worst matches I have ever seen.. And what's with her hair and those awful dresses she's been wearing? Talk about making her as "unflattering" as possible.. Yikes!!

I agree -I remember Paul & Andy being best buds, not Paul & Danny. I don't remember Danny being part of their crowd for the 1st few years.
