.... they sold us a ticket at a good rate. The times of our flights didn't vary one minute from what they were when we bought the tickets. All four Delta flights took off and landed on time if not before. When we got off our last flight home, all seven pieces of luggage were already on the carousel by the time we reached it, even though they had been transferred from another airline.

Sometimes things do go right!!! :thumbsup2

OK, this was not for an Orlando trip, and it didn't involve Atlanta, so it was kind of cheating. But I felt I needed to share some good news for a change.

I'm so glad to hear this good news. We are flying Delta Sept 21 and a little nervous about luggage getting lost. We do transfer in Atlanta thats the point I get a little nervous. We have never flown before so this is an adventure for us. We are packing all our needed stuff for the first day in our carryon except ofcourse liquid and gels. If we have too we will buy at resort. Maybe things wont be so bad after all.
Thanks

I've had so many flights with Delta and they never lost our luggage either.

I have taken numerous flights on Delta and Song, mostly to Disney, and haven't had any problems.

What???!!!! They never changed your tickets? You never had to call to get seats reassigned?? When did you buy tickets...3 days before your flight? Kidding here. I've always had decent service with Delta..always took off and landed on-time...very few delays. If there were, it was usually due to severe weather..thunderstorms. I avoid Atlanta like the plague...I will not fly in there...will fly a different airline if they change me to connecting in Atlanta. And my luggage has always been fine. It's that whole 'not changing' anything that amazes me!! Lucky you!!! :thumbsup2

Who me..little ole moi???

Delta AKA Deliver Everyones Luggage to Atlanta or Don't ever leave the airport

I have never had lost luggage or delayed flights except once. Flight delayed as the lightening and thunderstorm passed over...so not Deltas fault. I am booked with them again Next May and so far they are the cheapest for the flight times I want.

ANother thumbs up for Delta.

Lori

Glad to hear of the positive delta stories. I bought my tickets last month for next June.

And every day millions of travellers have the same, unremarkable service from every airline, yet we mostly hear the bad stories. I fly United because the experience is unremarkable - that's all I expect from an airline.

Thanks for sharing a good story to offset the bad stories.
