I do recall that I lost mine, post 9-11 and I was even in DC and somehow I was able to fly home with out my ID. I can't recall how though

It was a very scary experience.

just YUCK!!! I so hope he found his wallet....what a pain. Ok I am so glad that neither Matt or I carry wallets when we are in the parks....

I just keep in a small ziplock bag, everyone's KTTW, and our 2 DL's...everything else stays in the safe in the resort. This baggies stays securely in a zippered pouch in my bag. so unless my bag falls off my body or Captian Hook steals it...I think we'll be OK...

don't leave us hanging too long....(well I guess you could tortue me after the hair pulling I made you do w/ the DVC cliffhangers...)

Actually, we are about 9.5 hours away, it's not too bad. We normally drive to Tallahassee the first travel day due to the time we leave our house and we drive straight home without staying overnight the day we leave. I am thinking about writing a trip report, but I first need to learn how to put links to pictures that you have done. We went in 2007 also; ending of September\begining of October. Hope you all found the wallet.

PM me if you want me to try to explain how to post pictures... I might still have the original PM someone sent me explaining the whole thing.

I can just feel the tension in this post. UGH. NOT good!

Good for you for being able to push through some final fun for the sake of the boys!

I'll leave you hanging a bit longer as payback. But I know you are humoring me - since I gave away the ending at the beginning of this TR! Unless you and everyone else just forgot since I started this thing so long ago.

Good tip about leaving everything behind in the safe - which is pretty much what I do, but I guess we didn't really think of that with Tim's wallet. I'm sure we'll remember next time.

I've never gone through the trouble of photocopying our cards and writing down the bank phone numbers. Luckily Tim had his laptop or we would have had a hard time cancelling everything. Again, hindsite is 20/20, right?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone!! It's been a pretty good week - but Tim has been away all week. He was determined not to travel this week because of Zach & my birthdays, plus we had Open House at school last night. But at last minute he was invited to a really special training that was a great opportunity for both Tim & his company.

We celebrated Zach's birthday with his friends last Sunday and we'll be having another family get together this weekend to celebrate Zach's birthday, my birthday, as well as my brother's birthday, which is Sunday.

Tim has decided to move my birthday to March (my half-birthday) so I can finally have my own day. I had to share with my brother as a child and now I share with Zach (happily). Plus Mother's Day is usually a family day with both grandmother's - that I end up hosting!! And my mother's birthday is in mid-May too... I guess I do need my own day!! When Tim mentioned "moving" my birthday to March, he said, "and we usually have a Disney trip in the works by then, right?"
