I also like when he told his parents that he heard there were grizzly bears near Placies candy store. His parents looked at him like he had lobsters crawling out of his ears.

This is the best, my brother and I loved this movie. My brother wanted my dad to get a Red Ryder for my nephew this year for Christmas. My dad and I had a blast out looking for one this morning. My brother and I also have a tradition where we buy eachother a Christmas Story thing every year. Last year I got my brother a 3-D leg lamp puzzle, the year before that, he got me The Christmas Story board game. It's a fun tradition, and brings back good memories for us.

Two years ago, I got the red Ryder gun, last year I got the Leg lamp and a leg lamp puzzle that came in the "FRA--gil-leee" crate!

This year, I know it won't be the Bumpass dogs, wonder what it could be?

I agree with the leg lamp! I have a big bay window in the front of our house, only problem is it has 4 window panes running down it, so I can't position it in the middle. I would have to put it to one side and I think it would look funny. (I am a little OCD about those kinds of things.) My DH and I are talking about getting new windows, and if we do, I am replacing the bay window with one with no panes on it so I can get one and display it. I think it would be hysterical! I hope you get yours one day soon!!
