Well it took me almost all day yesterday and an hour and a half this morning....but I'm completely caught up on your TR! Love it, love it, love it!!! It's so fun to read! I feel like I'm walking around following you and watching it happen (but not in a creepy stalker-ish way!) Can't wait to read about DTD and the rest of your trip!

WOW! Thanks to dedicating that much of your life to reading about my trip. I know I can talk a whole bunch and I type how I talk. Sorry to let you know that DTD was our last night at Disney

Before we had laid down to take our nap I made sure to set the alarm. We were meeting my friends at DTD somewhere (bad idea) around 7pm (give or take 15 minutes). When we woke up it was dark outside. First thought was "we over slept!" then "the alarm never went off" followed by "wouldn't they have called us if we didn't show up?". After that I looked at the alarm and realized it was only 5pm. Wow those curtains work miracles! I pulled back the curtains to see what was happening outside and it was raining!!!! Not like drizzle and fizzle rain, but full out raining the entire sky is grey! So I texted my friend and asked him why he sent rain on our dinner and if he wanted me to bring them ponchos just in case.

We got ready to go and headed out with our ponchos on.... well now that I think about it, I wore my poncho, but BF didn't want to yet. We sat on the bench waiting for a DTD bus for about 5 - 10 minutes and we were off. We both arrived around 7:05pm, not too bad on the timing, except we were staying on Disney property and took the bus and they live an hour away and drove. So we needed to find one another. Once we got off the bus at DTD BF put his poncho on, because it was pouring now. They were by TREX and I just started walking. Not sure where I was going, but since we got off all the way over in the Marketplace it has to be to the left!

We stopped in Once Upon A Toy to see where their run from the car to a store ended up with. They were in the Lego store. I needed a map. Luckily a CM went a got us one since they had just run out. I found the Lego store on the map and we headed out. Once finding the Lego store I walked through it looking for them and then walked out to the bins looking for them. Still couldn't see them. I turned around and there they were walking towards us. Seriously, this is a big deal for me because I haven't seen them since October of 2006 so its been awhile. We hung out at the Lego Store for awhile and ended up making those lego people where you get 3 for $9.99, we made all sorts of people and set ups and then chose the best three out of about 15.... LOL yeah we kind of took an entire section of the make lego people for ourselves. We checked out from the Lego Store and I put the Lego people in my bag so no one had to carry it. Just remind me later and I'll give it you. Famous last words. It was drizzling at this point and we headed over to World of Disney since it was there and I still had to do my retail therapy. I looked at the kids shirts and found a few I liked for the boy next door.

Then we were getting hungry so we headed to Earl of Sandwich for dinner. We used two of our CS for dinner. Earl Grey Lemonades, Meatball for me, Club for BF, brownie for me, chips for him. We grabbed a table and settled in and our pagers were going off! No wait what so ever! We ate and talked and catched up. I brought a long a present for my friends fiancee. I gave it to her after dinner. She was stoked about it.

We headed out and stopped at Trend-D, the sporty store attached to it and then..... Ghirardelli's! I wanted to treat everyone to dessert since I still had to use the gift cards before I left. BF and I spilt a cable car, my friend got a mint shake and his fiancee got a hot chocolate. SOOOOO good. Except we sat at a table outside and we were eating and this worker kept coming by asking if he could clear things or take things. At one point he asked if he could wipe the table clean, we didn't have to get up or leave or anything, we'd just have a clean table. Okay buster we get the hint!

We headed over to Goofy's Candy Co. to see what to spend snacks on, we still had 6 since I never got my ice cream sandwich at MK. Nothing interested us right now and BF and I would be back tomorrow for lunch, we could get things then. Then we stopped at Pooh's corner for some silly photos of my friend and I with Pooh and Tigger. Oh boy! Then over to World of Disney where we watched to see if anyone would get hit by Stitch's spit. So close so many times!!! We were dying, then the kids came out and stood trying to get hit. Then we took a couple nice photos together and it was a night for us.

They headed off and I headed for Basin. Really cute stuff and a few things I wanted, but I was talked into coming back tomorrow. Then to the World of Disney, it was 10:50pm and they close at 11pm (or when the last customer leaves) I got a t shirt for the kid next door, a t shirt for me, postcards (I hadn't found any regular postcards until today), an ornament, and a picture frame. We got the luggage and beach towel with our purchase.

Then off to the bus stop and there was a Pop bus waiting for us! We got back to Pop and started packing since we left tomorrow.

I am having 'it's almost the end of the trip' anxiety for you!

I hate waking up with a start thinking that its later than it is! I am glad you all had fun with your friends though! You guys in the Lego store was classic! I love meeting up with friends while there - it puts a nice spin on things.

I HAVE to have me a Ghiradelli sundae when we go...HAVE TO!! Every trip I say I will and then for whatever reason I dont.

Let me apoligze now about the photos not working. I exceeded my bandwidth and it will be reset on the 26th. So we will continue on without photos for 4 days and then like magic ****photos**** will appear and make you laugh at what a big kid I am!

It could be because we all fill up on sweets all day so by the time you get to it you are too full.... that's why I got a brownie and pocketed it for later. Acutally its still in my fridge with some other goodies.

I have my wheels turning in my head about doing a ridiculously awesome trip sometime either 2011 by myself or bring some friends or 2012 and wait for BF to be able to go with me and not focus solely on parks, like the premium one night plan. He would love the Richard Petty Driving stuff, more so if he was the one driving, but we don't have that kind of money.

Honestly I've been dreaming about ice cream there, at Beaches & Cream, and my ice cream sandwich at MK before the trip. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, if you couldn't guess by the fact that I frequent a chocolate buffet!

This trip was my first time ever to DTD!!! I had never made it to here before. I was either in the parks or sleeping. I was just seriously looking at how much it would cost to go back to Disney and told BF next time I have a special trip planned not revolving around being in parks. I want to do the one night premium plan so badly, actually I rather do the platinum plan so I can get a massage and he can do the Richard Petty driving experience, but we don't have that type of money for a resort right now.

Oh well off to win the lottery lol.

Yep, you need to win the lottery very soon and go again! My next trip isn't until May 29th and I'm living vicariously through trip reports! It's a long shot, but there's a little plan in the works for me to go in Dec. but I'm not confident that will work out

But now I'm way excited about getting a sundae and about 100 more things to eat than I'd originally planned on!!!

I agree...winning the lottery sounds like a good plan!! We all should win...and go back soon!!! I want to go back again sooner rather than later. I thought maybe my dh would want to go for our 25 year anniversary...but he has said no. I managed to do this trip with my mom and dds, but I don't think I could justify another "me only" trip. Sooooo... if I won the lottery....

I had a list going on my trip of what I wanted to eat and I didn't even hit half of it. I wanted to take BF to the bakery in France for a goody, but the line was out of the shop and down the street. I wanted my MK ice cream sandwich. I would love to see the Christmas lights. I can't do a birthday trip cause my birthday lands near Easter this year. I'll figure something out!

Hey guys.... I haven't meant to be ignoring this..... I wanted to wait so I could show you some photos now that they are back up, then Saturday we went to a Food Festival which we gorged ourselves on, it was super warm, and crowded. Then yesterday was football and trying to fix a sink. I'm also trying to get my cats to like the t-shirts I got them for halloween. One walks like she's wearing high heels and the other walks a few steps and then lays down like the shirt is going to magically come off. Also I think the Disney is starting to take over BF. He wanted to sleep more and I was awake. He actually asked if I could give him one more magic hour. Haa Haa Haa.

Okay let me see where I left off on the TR and make sure I have the photos I need to update it and finish it up!

yeah...cats dont seem to like to play dress up. My dd has tried a couple of times to get ours to wear little hats. They just look so annoyed.
