Here I was actually thinking it might be a good idea...
I have a pre-lit tree, so I could zip-tie all of the ornaments on now before I take the tree down, then next year it's all ready to go!!

actually not a bad idea

our tree has really soft branches ,, a LOT of the ornaments we put on just slid down the branch & plop onto the ground

could not put them close to the outside. even pinching the hanger really tight.
using a zip tie would have really helped!
I could have put on the ones I liked best.
