You dump a crate of books on your head!!

I have a book case that has 2 crates on top and then two more crates on top of those. The crates site on their sides and are filled with paper back books (its the READ180 set of books in my reading classroom). I put a fifth crate in the middle on top of the other crates because we don't use these books much so there was no need to have them down low.

So the kids just left, I'm straightening up and I see there is a book on top of the tallest crate (my 5ft 11in girl stuck it up there) so I grabbed it down. Then in my infinte wisdom I decided to look on top of the crate to see if there were any more up there. I tilted the crate down ward...did I mention that i'm 5' 4" on a good day? and next thing I knew 25 paperback books cracked me in the head!! Thank goodness I had the sense to put my head down and the only thing hurt is one ear where the books smacked!!

When they were passing out brains I thought they said trains and I said I'd take the next one!!

yes, they come by it naturally!! I felt like such a dork!!

dbarker...nope not hurt...just my ego...but luckily I'm always doing things to it, so it heals pretty quickly!!

Glad to help Tara Seriously I hope you weren't hurt really at all by it. And I laugh mostly because I would do something like that too

Next time I think we just get Alan to do it for us... that way when he does it, we both can laugh at someone else
