.....that feeling you get the day before you leave on vacation? Sitting at work finishing things up before you head out for "The Happiest Place on Earth" (or anywhere for that matter), looking at your boss who is demanding all this stuff to get done before you leave thinking "I'm sooo not going to miss you". Then you get home to do a final "walk-thru" of everything you packed (and re-packed); the kids are bouncing off the walls all excited; the DH checks the camcorder and camera 52 times then decides we need more tapes and batteries. And forget about sleeping; oh sure, you go to bed early thinking you have a long day ahead, but a million things are racing through your mind ("did I pack this?" "are we taking enough money?" "I have to make sure I unplug this and unhook that"). And that strange yet exciting feeling you get in your stomach, it's hard to explain, where you can sense fun and relaxation are just around the corner if you could just get through the next few hours. A co-worker of mine is leaving for a cruise tomorrow and I'm so jealous. But her time will come to be jealous of me when I head to WDW in June. Unfortunately I have another 122 days before I can experience that "feeling" of no worries and nothing but sun and fun for a week. Perhaps looking out the window and seeing the snow coming down is making me wish for warmer and happier times.
