the TB ain't what it used to be
i haven't really been posting here lately, its just gotten so slow.
maybe i've just grown out of it? is it just me who is noticing this?

worst i've seen it too. i came back thinking it'd be like it was when i left in 2008, but it's really boring here. i've found myself using this other disney forum more often, and it's pretty dead too. kinda sad. do you guys think that the generation coming up is kind of not-so-much into disney? or has facebook taken over or something? i hate the facebook UI, so i don't use it. i wish i'd been more active here back when it was active here...

facebook has been around for awhile now, and there was myspace before that.
its only been like this for the last few months-ish, right?

i dunno, i think i came back in late april or early may, and it's actually picked up in activity in the past two days or so. so it's been really dead. i'd spend more time in the CB but it's full of all these moms who want baby/child/preteen/teen/adultchild advice LOL

i was on earlier in the day and it was still ridiculously slow.

yeah, a few weeks ago it used to be just like marypops and disgirlellie and one or two others all posting in the random thread, and occasionally in the song lyrics thread.

now there's a role-playing murder mystery game going on and a few young girl members have joined so they post a bit. hopefully this place will come alive over the summer.

Yeah. It's dead during most of the day usually. Sometimes a lot of people come out at night though.

I've felt it hasn't been as active as it used to be for a long time now :/ I don't know if it the fact that I joined the boards when I was 12 and now I'm 16 and this isn't as much of a interest for me as much anymore. I know when I was younger I used to live on these boards but once I got a facebook I wasn't as interested anymore. Now adays I mostly lurke the trip report board and sometimes the Disneyland and wdw resort board and that's about it. The teen board really doesn't interest me much anymore sadly :/

The posters are a lot more regular over there. Not that I don't come here everyday too. It's just that there really isn't conversation going on here that I want to jump into.

honestly, thats when the TB was in its prime. late '06 and '07. in my opinion, anyways.

i mean its just sad now. there are threads that haven't been posted in since friday still on the first page.

and most of the threads are just boring. there aren't any interesting conversations or discussions going on. :|

most of the threads are really boring or just something i can't relate to. if i was the only one feeling this way i'd say that i'd grown out of it, but it doesn't seem like thats really the case. i post a lot on the cb. i just come to the tb out of habit. its really sad what its become.

It's unbelievably slow around here lately. When I first joined, I found it very intimidating and difficult to keep up with all the threads and discussions going on. It's quite sad..
I always read the TPAS and the UKBoards, and sometimes post over there too.
Unfortunately, I find it easier now to talk to the friends I've made here on facebook or msn or whatever. :/
I know I'm not really an old poster, having only been here two years this summer, but I miss the way it was when I first joined.
