ok so my dh and i go to his cousin's wedding tonight and i really believe that my family is nutty!!!!

we are getting ready and ds wants to know if dh and i are going to the prom????
(ok little late for that one honey!)
no bubba, we are going to daddy's cousin patty's wedding.
well mommy are they going to play the star spangled banana??
OMG are ya kiddin'? i was laughing so hard i could not even breath.

ok then we get to the wedding and my bil and sil ask how did Wyatt make out with his school project? and my fil says-Wyatt??? who the heck is that? i thought it was John??? and I said who's name is John? He said I don't know i thought my grandsons name was John but they(bil and sil) are calling him Wyatt!!!!! and my mil is just looking at us like we are all crazy. she has not a clue as to what were are talking about. now keep in mind my bil and sil have no clue who Wyatt is, but want to know about his project!!!! and now my fil think my sons name is Wyatt. he just nutty!

and there was a wedding going on on the other side of the function hall and dh went to the bathroom and went back in there instead of with us and just comes back laughing. like can you just see him?? where's my family. these people don't look familiar???

i have not laughed so hard in so long!

really all nuts!

because in his package about Rhode Island my bil and sil bought a little book all about RI firsts things to put in. They were all excited to be helping out.
Now the funny thing about this is, they have no idea who Wyatt is, or how I know AWM or anything! they haven't a clue!!!!

and my fil? with changing of his name?? are ya crazy?

and why in the world would they play the star spangle banana???

really all still funny to me in the morning!

but the best part of the evening was dancing with my hubby! he only dances at weddings, so i have to take advantage of it! i really do love that man. even though he goes to other weddings with out me!

Boys are just funny! DD says things that are cute, DS says things that are funny. Like the other day when he was tired and rubbing his eyes and said "Mom, my eye is broken!" Or while watching baseball the ball was hit into the blinker instead of the bleacher. And Star Spangled Banana's....

A blast from my past... DS20 (then 4) was so facinated by his new little brother, he was stuck to me for everything...so I say "It's time to change the baby" and DS20 says (now remember, he was only 4)... "Mommy, don't change the baby, I like him the way he is"

i'd love to show you a pic of how dh and i looked, but i'm the one behind the camera! the wedding photographer took our pic after i asked him a couple of times!!!! my mil wanted a pic of the 6 of us (dh, i, mil, fil, sil & bil) and the guy took a pic of every table BUT us. so that ticked me off, so i went and asked him to take a pic of us! so the only pic of my *prom* dress is with the professional pics. dh and i were dancing and mil tried to take a pic w/ her camera but it was not working right.
guess what she's getting for xmas?????
