You Just Got Married at WDW - What're You Gonna Do Next? LIVE Blog from WDW (p.24)!

Can't wait to have kids just so I can design some shirts for us all, homemade is cheaper isn't it :confused3

Now there’s a reason to have kids that I’d never thought of!

Back OT yey for the shirts :woohoo: Will DH be wearing (a more manly :rotfl: ) one too? You have to incase he goes to get something from a cart while you sit down/powder your nose/wait to see Mickey - delete as appropriate.

And I like your idea about the shirts...nothing is better than a clever Disney shirt except matching clever Disney shirts ;)

Good idea, ladies! Matching “Lousy Husband” and “Lousy Wife” shirts, perhaps?

Those shirts are amazing! I love the 'lousy husband' one (no offense to your DH!). You should wear them every day of both trips. Free desserts abound!

And thanks to Zazzle you can make a different color for each day of the week!

:lmao: love the shirts!! I agree, wear them for both trips!!

OK, I'm sold! :thumbsup2

So can you put anything on a shirt? Do you know if they ship internationally? During our Dec trip we're doing a photoshoot (at the Poly) and I was wondering what we should wear - not sure yet if we're doing dressy or casual :confused3

Apparently you can’t put just anything on a shirt... see my next post... :(

But you can put a lot of things on a shirt! And Zazzle ships to 67 countries, including yours! It’s not too bad, either - $7.98 for a ladies’ shirt: http://www.zazzle.com/help/helpshipping.asp#intl

Are you doing a PhotoPass shoot? I hear it’s a great bargain if you’re gonna load the CD up with other pix from your trip. (However, I am also compelled to recommend doing a shoot with our wedding photographers instead – our engagement pix at the Poly were amazing!)

Those shirts are too cute!!!

Always thinking about the dessert.

Isn’t everyone?! :rotfl:

So while I was replying, I got an email saying my shirt order had been cancelled for copyright infringement. I'd thought that since the actual WDW logo uses two different fonts and mine used all one font, I could get away with it, but no dice.

However, there are a TON of unofficial Disney T-Shirts on Zazzle, so I'm thinking it's the Waltograph fonts I used that got me in trouble. Most of the other users' Disney stuff is in other fonts.

So I whipped up this shirt instead, but it just isn't as cool-looking... :sad2:

You know, I've been thinking of doing that. I have the file all set up in Photoshop - all I need is transfer paper (thanks for the link to the CB - I found directions there!).

But I don't like the color quality on our home printer. Can you get Kinko's to print on iron-on paper, or do they not allow it?

Not sure if Kinkos will print on Transfer paper or not.

Have you tried printing something yet? Our printer isn't the greatest either, but I thought our shirts came out great!! Espically on the Dark Transfer paper! The transfer paper is pretty cheap, you can go to the HP Store (thru SR of course!!) and you used to be able to B1G1Free with free shipping too! Great deal!

Hey there, yeah we're gonna try the photopass shoot. As you say if you're gonna buy the CD anyway it's such a bargain!

I just had a look at your photos (surprised the server at work didn't block it, they block most cool things!) they are amazing :goodvibes Were some at WL too? Or am I imagining it?

I will defo keep them in mind for future (in fact if we go next year with friends we could split the cost ;) ) do they have set packages or will they do whatever you want? (like going to a couple of resorts) From your description in your wedding trippie they sound so friendly and familiar. I'm always a bit anxious about suggesting poses - are they good at coming up with things? I loved some of yours, they are so 'real' I love how you guys do silly faces :upsidedow

Anyway, gonna have a quick sneaky peak at Zazzle until my break ends.

I would also like to complain (sorry :offtopic: ) about the weather here today, we've had sun, rain, hail, thunder & lightning - it's flipping August

I'm gonna try it! I just ordered a bunch of T-shirts and tanks on sale from Vickies (a.k.a., Victoria's Secret :lmao: ), so as soon as I get the transfer paper I'll give it a shot.

However, in all my research about having shirts made professionally, I found a place that will use GLITTER ink :hyper: so now I'm kinda cracked on the idea of making shirts through them... :rotfl:

Yes! We picked Wilderness Lodge and the Poly b/c they have the most stand-out theming (to us). In fact, we started the pix on Sunrise Terrace where you got married! However, I wish we'd ended there instead - I find that the first 20-30 minutes of pictures we take never turn out that hot, maybe cuz we're still getting in the rhythm of things....

I believe the way the Roots' pricing works, they have a flat hourly fee and then they charge you for prints and/or the CD of images. We just bought the CD and printed pix ourselves, so it was fairly reasonable. I always recommend contacting the Roots and just talking to them about what you have in mind - they're really flexible and accommodating!

As for poses, we are big hams who don't need much coaching, but the Roots did occasionally suggest where to stand or where to look. Having seen their photos of a ton of other couples, I think I can say they definitely know how to draw their subjects out of their shells! Check out all the pix in their blog (if work doesn't block it): http://rootphotography.blogspot.com/

I'll trade you for boring sun sun sun all the time. :rotfl2: I miss being places where it rains in the summer.

Also, you might be cheered to know that your packet of crappy American chocolate left here Tuesday and is winging (inching?) its way to the UK! :goodvibes

Because I have carefully hidden my secret love of all things garish and girly and colorful, as evidenced by the delicate wisp of a necklace I wore at my wedding? :rotfl2:

Man, I thought I knew you.. I'm scared for our meet up now.. I'm picture bling bling shirts and knee high rainbow socks with tevas:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I amuse myself

Note to self: Pick up knee-high rainbow socks when buying pocket poncho....

In other news, my Sunshine Rewards giftcard came, so I called up and applied it to my already-paid-off reservation and they credited my credit card with that amount.

Thanks for the Roots recommendation. I will remember them for when we get the chance (I have an excuse) to use them :thumbsup2

I guess with the weather the grass is greener on the other side :rotfl: It's so depressing having grey skies all the time, we've barely had a summer :sad1: all this rain makes the grass grow so quickly but it's too wet to mow :headache: Hopefully Sept/Oct will be nice like last year :confused3

Thanks again for the crappy American chocolate :worship: :rotfl: I'm sure we'll thoroughly enjoy it ;) I'll let you know when it arrives :thumbsup2
I still can't believe how quickly it got to you

I know! I usually don't have much good to say about the US Postal Service, but maybe there's a little friendly competition with the Royal Mail that made them get their act together for once! :rotfl:

In today's Trip-Planning Minutae Update...

I wore my new Teva Toachis for the first time during our trip to San Diego this weekend, hoping to break them in.

Behold the Homeliness!
TevaToachi.jpg

I'm not sure about them, and I'm kinda obsessed by having the perfect footwear for WDW b/c I don't wanna be miserable walking around in bad shoes for a week.

I had to fasten them on REALLY tight to keep the back strap from rubbing and falling down my heel. As a result, they were kinda cutting into my ankles the whole day. I didn't get any blisters, but I kept thinking I shouldn't be feeling my ankle straps all day. I even unclasped the straps at lunch to give my feet a break.

This does not seem to be a good thing.

Whaddo I do? Keep wearing them til our trip to see if they can be broken in? Start my search for the comfiest walking sandal all over again? Give up and wear my comfy but hot Eccos every day? Usually I like to alternate my shoes on a trip, and my only other potential pair of shoes gave me a blister by the end of our last trip - eep! :scared:

Whaddya think? :confused3

I hate the wdw shoe war!! after yesterday I have decided my flip flops are most def not an option!! my back is killing me today, and my ankles were killing e last night after all that walking ;/ time is running out, so now i'm mega nervous about this :(

Ouchy, shoes problems are the worst :scared: Hopefully you'll break in your Tevas (they are lovely BTW), I have a similar pari but made by Merrell (sp?) and I didn't have any trouble with the backs, guess it depends on your foot shape :confused3 They do have middle bits both sides tho.

I say stick with them for a while, but do consider getting something else if they don't get better. Hey why not get some Crocs?! I've got my eye on the HSM ones (they go up to womens sizes :woohoo: ) but then I'm 27 going on 7:thumbsup2

Oh and about the Royal Mail vs US Postal Service you guys win hands down :worship: As well as constantly raising prices they are closing 100's of Post Offices :confused3

 Sorry to hear about your new shoes. I'd keep trying to break them in, but have a backup plan just in case.

How many more days until your trip?

I'm going to check out your Merrells - I really love the Merell slides I got a few weeks ago - maybe their sandals will work too.

As for Crocs - I tried to get Crocs, I really did! But they are all too wide for my feet and I step right out of them. :sad1: I got some of the Sassari platform slides for a beach wedding I'm going to this weekend cuz they were the only thing durable - and hose-off-able - enough, but I'm going to be clinging to DH for dear life so I don't fall out of them. :lmao:

1 month and 1 day! :cool1:

Eeep! OK - maybe you can check out Merrell shoes too? Also, for back issues, I love my MBTs... but they ain't cheap. :sad2:
