On March 4th I had a listing end with BIN. I sent 3 invoices and two emails until I got a response from the bidder - who says someone hacked his account and placed the bid without his knowledge. He is NARU since 3/4, argh.

I filed NPB on 3/12, relisted and have successfully sold the item (the buyer paid immediately with PayPal) tonight.

Ebay has not yet refunded the original FVF as it hasn't been 10 days since I filed NPB . I presume, based on ebay's relisting requirements, that I will get the insertion fee credit when the 10 days has lapsed and the FVF is credited.

Try relisting them on Sunday evening if you had no bids.

I have gotten a couple of e-mails asking me to combine shipping and to ship parcel post rather than Priority Mail.

I do calculated shipping based on Priority Mail, but I state in my auctions that if you want Parcel Post, email me for a quote. It's usually cheaper for people on the coasts (I'm in Oklahoma right now), but in a PP quote, I do count the cost of Delivery Confirmation and the box, since all my boxes were packed and sent to Washington. Then the person can decide if they want PP or PM based on the cost and time to get the package.

I try to send my shipments either parcel or media to save the buyers money. Today however I had an auction end and the price difference between priority and parcel was less than .40 so I changed the cost on the invoice and sent it to the buyer. She tried to check out using the invoice "Pay now" and it wouldn't let her pay the extra .38 - how do I change the paypal section OR is there a way to pay more than the paypal amt states?

I told her to pay what was listed and I'd still send it priority but I need an answer for when this comes up again.

Is this on Paypal? If so it usually means that an echeck was used to pay for the item and it has to clear before you can use the funds or ship the item.

It does say PP in a smaller font next to pending...so I wait till it states what???Cleared or paid???

that "pp" just means paypal probably. You should wait til it clears. It will say "completed" when it clears. That can take a week or more.

Is the stamps.com offer too good to be true? You get vouchers for postage and a scale? What kind of scale is it and how long does it take once you send the voucher. I remember reading on here that someone uses stamps.com, it looks like a good deal! thanks,

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! I had the wrong email acount listed.....all my notifications have been going to the wrong email....it's not me and I've gone back and sent the 5 sales I've had the corrected email and changed all but 1 of the current listings, and my profile pages....I hope I've done enough damage control.....

How to decide if you should relist something or not....I sold half of the videos I listed....should I relist them just once more and then if they don't sell ...send them to the thrift shop...or should I give up and not relist at all.

Not sure what I should do???

Zurgs - part of that depends on what my listing price is and whether I will have any chance of recouping it. If not, I take my loss and run. Otherwise, I'm spending the same amount again to relist it and I will then be out even more if it does not sell. It's a judgement call on your part. We end up winning on some & losing on some.

QUESTION!!! I asked in the old thread but lost it somewhere if it was ever answered -

Any good suggestions on finding value of old dolls or even what they are?

I normally ship only within the U.S., but I have an item I preparing to list that has the potential to be won internationally and hopefully sell for a few hundred dollars. I considered adding to my "will ship to", but decided to leave it as U.S. only, to discourage interantional bidders. I was wondering if it was within ebay's guidelines to put in a disclaimer - "seller reserves the right to accept or cancel bids based on buyer's location". Is this allowed?

Yes you can. You can pick any option on the drag down screen.

Boxes.. free sources are:

Liquor stores
Grocery stores
Drug stores/ ie CVS, Walgreens
Walmart/Kmart

and the mother of all free box sources......
