"You Guys Are Cast Members... Right?" - A December 2011 TR

Aren't they awesome? My mom and I freaked out a little bit about them. Aww. Boo! I wonder why!

Thanks so much Danielle! I appreciate it.

Oh okay... hmmm. I'm not really sure what we did because we booked it through Disney. I guess we're in the 24 hour check in boat. Good to know, thanks so much for the info!

Try logging in with your reservation number, and see if they let you select a seat. You can likely pay at that time if you wanted to.

Well dang, thanks for being so full of wisdom! :worship: I will definitely do that!

:lmao: You're too funny. I just normally fly either Southwest or Air Tran because they're less expensive, and located in Milwaukee, which I prefer. Glad I could help. ;)

I can't believe you got your Disney Mail! Oh my goodness it is coming so fast!!! Remember when I got mine you were saying it felt like forever until you'd get yours?!?!?! Well here it is! How the time flies! You will be in Disney before you know it!!!! Aren't those luggage tags fun?!?! I just love them!

Most likely, our dates will be 12/5-12/13.

If you are there at that time, I promise to ride COP with you! It will give you a chance to redeem yourself. :cool2: j/k j/k j/k

Yay for Mickey Mail!!!! Your trip is so close now!!

I am excited to find out where you're eating, I want to know if I was right!

We flew AirTran this trip. The seats are assigned if I remember correctly, and the seats are super small. We didn't pay much for the flights, and I remember thinking that was probably why. Not much leg room, not that I need it being 4'11', but DH wasn't too comfortable. :lmao:

Yay for Mickey Mail!!!!

I've only booked through JetBlue through Disney, but what I usually do is ask for the flight reservation number from them. (If you get a CM that says that they aren't able to give it to you (this only happened to me once, they said I had to find out at the airport - not true for JetBlue!), call back and ask another, I've always been able to get mine!) Then log into the airline's site and you can see/change your seats.

Will be sending lots of good thoughts your cousin's way!!!

Whoo-hoo for Mickey Mail!!!! That boy on the back is adorable! I think it's a perfect description of how people feel when they are there...at least that how I am. :rotfl:

Never flown before, so I'm not much help there. But I'll definitely keep Kristen in my prayers!

Okay, now for the question part. Have any of you ever flown AirTran? That's the airline we're flying this time, and so far I don't think we have any idea what our seats are. Are we supposed to? I honestly have no idea. The only airlines I've ever flown are American and JetBlue. Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated!

I also have another little favor to ask. My cousin Kristen is having lumpectomy surgery on Monday. If any of you are the praying kind, I would really appreciate some prayers for her. Thank you so much! :littleangel:

Firstly, I'm all caught up...sorry you weren't filling well, yay for solo time in the parks, and double yay for catching up with your friends!

And WOW, you're getting SO CLOSE to your next trip. How exciting is it that you'll be Bay Lake Towers!!!! :cool1::dance3::yay::banana:
I'm positively green with envy (in a good way, of course)!!

Next, I've flown AirTran and found their planes to be among the cleanest I've been on. Rather than try to explain the advance seat selecting process, here is what their website says:

Coach
Advance seat assignments are available for purchase at any time with Discount Coach and Sale fares. Prices vary by seat. For customers who purchase Regular Coach fares (Y, B or M fare classes), some seat selections are complimentary.

You may view the seating options and make your selection during the booking process, or you may retrieve your reservation and select your seat assignments at a later time.

Some seats offer special benefits:

Premium coach seats toward the front of the cabin offer priority boarding
Exit row seats offer additional leg room and priority boarding
All customers choosing exit row seating (whether purchased in advance or assigned at check-in) must meet certain requirements to qualify for exit row seating. See details below for exit row requirements.

Priority Boarding Option -- for discount coach and sale fares
Once you have a seat assignment, if you will be boarding with our general zones, you have the option to stow your bags and settle into your seat sooner. Opt into Priority Boarding during check-in and you’ll be upgraded to boarding zone 2 from general boarding -- Priority Boarding is $10.00 per passenger.

Hope that helps!

I'll be sure to say a prayer for your cousin!

Yay for mickey mail! Those luggage tags are really cute! Is that something new that Disney is doing? I think we are going to rent a car in Sept/Oct, so I will not be getting mickey mail this time around, boo! :sad1:

So much fun that the tags say MK, Bay Lake Tower is right around the corner! :cheer2:

:lmao: You're too funny. I just normally fly either Southwest or Air Tran because they're less expensive, and located in Milwaukee, which I prefer. Glad I could help. ;)

Very nice! Yeah, we were excited that they were less expensive, AND the flights were at better times. We have to pay to check luggage but we'll probably only check one or two bags and stuff the rest in carry-on anyway, so it will still come out cheaper than our alternative would have been! Thanks again!

Hahah now that you mention it yes, I do remember! I know, you're so right! I love them too ahhhhhhh I can't wait. It's all so crazy!

Most likely, our dates will be 12/5-12/13.

Oh okay! Well I will definitely keep you posted!

Hahaha I would love that, honestly. I'd sing along and prove my love for the CoP to you. :upsidedow

It really is! I honestly can't believe it.

You definitely got some right! I'll be posting it soon, I promise!

OH really? That's good to know... do you mind if I ask how tall Bryan is? My dad is like 6'2'' so I'm hoping he won't be too uncomfortable. The good news is that it's a relatively quick flight, under two hours... but still, being cramped up any length of time probably isn't fun. Oh well, I guess we'll figure it out! Thanks for mentioning that, I'm not sure if we would have ever even thought of that!

I KNOW. Is he not the cutest?! Good grief. HAHAHA me too!

Oh that's quite alright! Thank you so much Alicia!

I'm so glad!!! Hahah thank you, yay, and yay again! :lmao:

I know! It really is crazy. I can't even believe it! Aww, thanks! I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to stay there.

Oh, that's good to hear! I like clean. Hahahah. Thank you so much for going through all that trouble for me, I have no idea why I didn't think to look it up myself... goodness I'm losing my mind. Thank you so much! It definitely does help. :goodvibes

I appreciate it so much. Thank you Laura!!

I know! Aren't they adorable? I love them. Well, I'm not sure! I know we got luggage tags in 2010 but they were a castle design instead of this one. I'm not sure how long they've been doing it! Aww, sad! Maybe you'll get rental car mail and you can pretend it's Mickey Mail! :rotfl:

I'm clearly not used to that sight, haahaha. I wonder if there will ever be a value resort in the MK area? (Just kidding. Hahah.) It's all so exciting!

Hello again! Yes, I know. Two PTR updates in a row, two days in a row. What has the world come to?

(I'm stuck at home watching my brother while my parents are in Williamsburg this weekend. That's what the world has come to. HAPPY SATURDAY YALL. :lmao:)

I also felt a little bad keeping these ADR 'results' hanging. I promised next PTR update, and goodness gracious, I didn't even deliver. So as promised, THE RESULTS.

But wait. There was a tie.

A really stinking huge tie.

NINE of you got the most correct. NINE. I can't very well have a 9-way tie, can I? No... I'm too poor for that, prize wise. :rotfl2:

SO, those of you who guessed the most places correctly will get to guess again!

Here are the usernames of those of you who tied (in order of when you guessed):

1. emma212010
2. kansasdisneygal
3. Enchanted88
4. Nermel9
5. therussells08
6. self_resqing_princz
7. PlutosRHM55
8. soxyes
9. minandmick

Just so you know, all of you got FOUR correct!

The rest of you who guessed all did really well too! ALL of you guessed at least two or more correct, so... YAY!

So for the nine of you who tied, if you still care enough and would like to guess again, go for it!

Since I'm having way too much fun with this, I probably won't tell you which ones you DID get right.

However, I will make it a little bit easier. A couple of the restaurants got so many votes that I just couldn't keep them a secret any longer.

Literally EVERYONE who played guessed Crystal Palace. And yes... you were all right! Am I that predictable? Love it. That's the one repeat place.

All but TWO of you guessed 'Ohana, and yeah, we're going there too! I'm so excited!

So hopefully that made it a little bit easier, right?

(Oh, and you don't have to be specific. If you guessed Crystal Palace for dinner, I still count it, even though it's breakfast. I'm not gonna be THAT hard on yall, I'm just looking for the place!)

SO ANYWAYS, if you're up for it, I'd love you to make your second guess! We might have another tie... if so, I'll have to brainstorm how to figure that one out. Hahaha. Anyways, if you do guess again, I have to ask that you don't look at everyone else's answers. You can look at your original guess though!

I'll put up the OFFICIAL (hopefully!!!) results next Sunday, so take your time!

Here we ago again!!! :cheer2:

Continued in Next PTR Update

Okay I just went straight Sherlock Holmes on your clues, and here's what I've come up with:

Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Crystal Palace
The Plaza
Le Cellier
Akershus

THIS MUST BE RIGHT.

HAHAHAHA, your enthusiasm is perfect. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. :drive: (What's he doing here?)

Ah I'm having such a fun time with this ADR guessing.
I'm so lame... I wrote out each person's guesses and compared and contrasted them all. My List HAS TO BE RIGHT...

1. Crystal Palace
2. Ohana
3. Akershus
4. Chef Mickey's
5. Le Cellier
6. The Plaza.

Boom! Thats it! :rotfl:

hi its me! commenting for the first time heres my best guesses
crystal palace
crt
le cellier
garden grill
ohana
boma
im probably not even close lol!

OH really? That's good to know... do you mind if I ask how tall Bryan is? My dad is like 6'2'' so I'm hoping he won't be too uncomfortable. Bryan is 6'2". He was not the most comfortable, but said it wasn't terrible either. He was on the aisle, so when the flight attendants weren't in the aisles, he was able to stretch out. :thumbsup2

Darn it! At least I got a couple right! I think it's a fun game, don't feel like it's silly. :goodvibes

Hahaha congrats to the 9 finalists!!! I did think it was funny that we ALL picked CP for you!

I think this game is such a cute idea, I may ask to steal it when a future trip comes around! :rotfl:

Oh man, top nine!!! This is intense!!:lmao: I actually had to do some hard core calculations on this, and I just ended up confusing myself! Hahahaha:rotfl:
But here is what I’ve got (It’s probably way wrong! Lol)
--Le Cellier
--Boma
--‘Ohana
--Crystal Palace
--Chef Mickey’s
--Auskerhaus

This was fun!! I hope you are having a great weekend!
:goodvibes
