You Flew All The Way Here With PIXIE DUST?! UD 8/22: Final Thoughts :)

HAHA! I'm loving this TR Meg!
The way you write it is so entertaining! Love it.
That convo with peter pan is too cute :cloud9:
and how lucky is your friend that her first ride @ wdw was JOURNEY INTO YOUR IMAGINATION! hahaha :rotfl:
Cant wait for more! :thumbsup2

Aww thanks Cait! And yeah, Peter was ah-dorable ;)

Peter Pan is lookin' good! I had a mini crush on my Peter too when I went last year.

And he wears tights! :thumbsup2

love the TR Meg!

YOU DIDNT MEET UP WITH FIGMENT!!:scared1:
i personally am shocked:rotfl:

Figment wasn't avaliable for meet and greets!

But thanks, Kels!

You girls done good!! :thumbsup2 Five major rides in the first hour!!

I guess they open AdventureLand with the rest of the park in the summertime. In November AL doesn't open until ten, like Toontown. :sad2: Boo!!

I love when characters "play" with guests! It's so much fun!

(Was Peter a true redhead or was it a rug???) :lmao:

Kathy

A sad night; just got back from my friend Kim's candlelight vigil (RIP). :sad1:

All my friends were there to lean on...some people talked about her (mostly her friends)...someone (I believe her English teacher) read a poem that she had written in October that made me weep BUCKETS  ...the girl's chorale sang a very pretty (though very sad) song...all in all, a sad but beautiful night. All of us, students, friends, parents, grandparents, all out in the courtyard, remembering a lost friend. I laughed, I cried. Thank goodness my friends are all so wonderful and loving and supportive :grouphug:

Jake, Aly (whom you've met in this report), Meggles, Ed, Arthur, Chris, Alicia, Ellen, Courtney, Teresa, Lyss...all such wonderful, wonderful friends. I feel so lucky to have them.

Lots of hugs, lots of tears, but we've all made it through this, and we will never forget Friday, May 1, 2009 for as long as we all shall live.

Rest in Peace, Kim. We all miss you and love you. You'll always be in our hearts, and we will NEVER, EVER, NEVER forget you.

A moment of silence/prayers/thoughts for all of us...

Thank you all.

:sad1:

Who knows? :rotfl:

All I know is that Peter was fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine ;)

Meg I hateee to be a major creeper but I did the math in my head (poorly, I might add) and came to the conclusion that your JB concert is on the 16th? Is that true?

Day 1 Part 2--Rain, HoP, and Princesses

Next up were our Splash Mountain FastPasses! :woohoo: Of course, during our journey to the Laughin' Place, it began to rain lightly. And, just our luck, as soon as we step off the ride...

...it

...begins

...to

...POUR!

:scared1:

We RAN to the Hall of Presidents (as it was almost 10:30, for the next show). HoP was nice, as usual. Considering I'm a teenager, I love this show. Guess I'm just a history freak! (Particularly the Tudor period in England) :rotfl:

(I know what Billy would be saying, Kathy. "Hall of Presidents, pleaaaaaaaaase!")

*clears throat*

After HoP, it was 11:00, so we headed off to Columbia Harbour House for an early lunch. This restaurant is seriously underrated. You get a LOT of food! Again, only remember what I got, which was the fish and chips :lovestruc

We ventured to Fantasyland and hopped in line for the next showing of Mickey's Philharmagic. While this is not my favorite 3D show in WDW (and you'll see what that is later), I still love it. It's so cool! :3dglasses

We grabbed FastPasses for Pooh (Aly's favorite character, so naturally, we had to ride!) and off we went (again, in the rain) to ToonTown Faire. Here (after about a 20 minute wait), we encountered some princesses princess:

First up was Aurora.

Aurora: What's your favorite ride here so far?
Aly and I: Splash Mountain!
Aurora: Oh? I thought MY PRINCE PHILLIP was the only one brave enough to conquer that!

Just the way she said MY PRINCE PHILLIP was amusing :lmao:

Aly and I with the pretty princess:

And Dad:

Next up was Cinderella.

Cinderella: So where did you come from?
Aly and I: RI.
Cinderella: You rode on an island to get here?

Aly and I with Miss Cindy:

And again, Dad:

Last up was my favorite, Belle (who sadly didn't carry on a fun conversation).

Aly and I:

And Dad:

Leaving the pretty princessess, we went back for our Pooh FastPass time (around 1:15 or so). This is such a cute ride (though I miss Mr. Toad), and Aly loved it.

So what did we do now? The day's only half over!

Up next:

Tomorrowland
Parade!
Dinner with Pooh y Amigos :)

Tune in!

Aww I love the princesses! But that Belle (who is my favorite as well :goodvibes) was not looking so good. I don't know, I wasn't too keen on her facial expressions. But regardless, great update Meg, looking forward to more!

Yeah, I wasn't too fond of this Belle, either :(

But thanks :)

Day 1 Part 3: Parade, Tomorrowland, and POOH!

After our ride through the Hundred Acre Wood, we went into Tomorrowland, grabbing FastPasses for Space Mountain. We then went on the TTA (I had forgotten how much I love this ride; we hadn't been on it in years). It was almost 3:00, so we headed back to Main Street for the parade!

After the lovely parade, we went back into Tomorrowland and went to see some monster friends at the Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor. It was such a cute show, and I adored it. Though some of the jokes were corny, the show was so good techological-wise. Loved the "That Guy" bit. (Our "That Guy" didn't speak much, if any, English, but totally hammed up the part!) After, we ventured next door to zap some Z's on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin :cool2: As we made our way towards Space Mountain, we met up with this space ranger.

We used our Space Mountain FastPasses (hooray!) and then began to make our way towards Main Street and our Crystal Palace ADR's (6:00 or so).

Two of my favorite shots for the whole trip:

(And yes, my hair really is that long!)

Continued in next post due to photo count...

We browsed on Main Street for awhile, and then settled into the Crystal Palace. It wasn't long before our beloved Hundred Acre Wood gang came around!

After a very yummy dinner at CP, we headed back through Adventureland, lazily going along. I asked to go on Jungle Cruise, and so we did, with a barely 10 minute wait. Sadly, our skipper had such a strong French accent, you could barely understand what he was saying. :sad2:

We went off to get more FastPasses for Splash Mountain, and continued on to Fantasyland. It was there that I was dragged (AGAINST MY WILL) onto It's A Small World. See, after reading Kingdom Keepers (a must-read!), I am petrified of It's A Small World. Especially at night. :scared1:  We made it through the scary dolls and headed back to use our Splash Mountain FastPasses (it's so much better at night!).

We then made our way to Main Street and grabbed seats at the top of the Train Station for Wishes. It was our first time ever seeing Wishes, and it did not disappoint. It, in all honesty, made me cry! :sad1: So beautiful! With happiness in our hearts, we caught a bus back to POR and settled in for the night (10:30).

Coming up next...

Day 2: Blizzard Beach and Downtown Disney!

Just a quick update:

Tomorrow night (Friday, 6/5) is my 12th dance recital!

Wish me...wait, no. Don't say "good luck".

Wish me to break a leg! :teeth:

We then went on the TTA (I had forgotten how much I love this ride; we hadn't been on it in years).

Aww I love the TTA. It's def one of the greatest rides in Magic Kingdom that is sadly overlooked. :sad2: But that is ok with me becuase then you can just keep riding it and riding it and riding it...

Great book! I haven't been to WDW since reading it but I really really hope that I won't have any adverse side-effects to it. Espcially in "it's a Small World", its my favorite ride. :lovestruc And you know you love the song Meg, haha.

As always, great update. Can't wait for day 2!

And Merde! on your performance tomorrow Meg!

Aww thanks, Randi!

And *shudder* Small World *shudder*.

You know you love it!
So I was just reading another TR and they mentioned the line "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring." Hahah, so now I'm all distracted by googling hilarious WDW quotes when I should be getting ready for bed. lol but that's what Disney does to ya I guess.

What are you dancing to at your recital?

Great update! Break a leg for your dance recital! What kind of dance do you do? My DD's do ballet, jazz, tap, broadway, and are hoping to add hip-hop this next year.
