You? City Girl? Country Girl? Suburb Girl?

The older I get, the more I dream about living in the country (with a reasonable commute to shopping). I think I would be happiest living in a small quaint New England coastal town

Oh, me, too! I was born and raised in the city. I don't live in a very big city anymore but I don't live in the country, either.

Beach girl! I live on the water and am only 2 blocks to the beach. Can't think of being anywhere else! :beach:

I've always been a suburban girl. I'm only about 20 minutes from NYC, but city life is not for me. But I'd have to say I would be a city girl way before I would be a country girl!

Suburban girl! I can;t think of a better place to be than the area I live in.

NYC is just 20 minutes away, the beach and the country are but an hour. I have everything I need, shopping-wise within about 5 miles. Neighborhood schools, stores within walking distance...

If I had to drive 30 minutes to go to the grocery store or to drop off my kids at school, I would not be happy-on the other hand, if I had to live in a city with no house, no yard-I'd absolutely hate it. I go into NY maybe once a year, I am so not a city person-but I just like to know it's there.;)

Suburban born and raised, yet spent a large chunk of my time with my country family. So I'm half suburban (although I hate to admit) and half country (at heart, I'm all country).

:)

City girl born and raised! Born in Philadelphia then moved to NYC and now, I technically live in the suburbs in NJ but I still consider myself a city girl. I love having everything I need so close to me, the hustle and bustle, and mostly I love the energy that comes with New York City. However, I go to college in the country and it was a huge transition. I thought I'd be good to get out of the "bubble" as my parents call it, but I miss the atmosphere and the culture of New York/New Jersey. When I graduate, my dream would be to move to LA but I can definitely see myself moving back to NYC.

hmmmm - let's see

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY - worked in Manhattan for many years. Now I'm in a suburb in Maryland and couldn't imagine being a city girl ever again. Wouldn't like being a country girl either.
