You? City Girl? Country Girl? Suburb Girl?

I'm a city girl but I better adapt to the suburbs soon. We're looking at houses in a very "Leave it to Beaver" type neighbourhood . Luckilly that area is only 10 minutes from downtown.

I'm really not much of a country person. We're visiting a small mountain town in the Rockies this summer but there's still a Starbucks and a mall near our hotel.

Jenn - that's exactly how I feel, I couldn't have said it better. I was born and raised in the suburbs, and we live in the suburbs now, which is great. I work in the city and it's awful - the traffic, snotty people, crowded streets. I've often told DH that I want to move to Maine, one of those towns nestled in the mountains with the white-steepled church. Either that or a town just like Cicely, Alaska - the town in Northern Exposure.

I am a country girl raising another country girl! We have our 10 acres with a goat and a pig, I love it that DD gathers the eggs she eats for breakfast the next morning.

And nothing beats a good old country party, swinging out of the hayloft and driving around on a tractor!

I am definitely a city girl through and through. I can't handle living in the country. But once I get married and have children I think living in a suburb outside of a big city would work for me.

Definitely a city girl. I can't stand to be anywhere where everything shuts down early or is more than a 10 minute drive away. I do like to go to the beach or country in short spurts, but I get bored after a few days.

CITYgirl born and raised. Have always lived in Chicago and can't see myself living in the suburbs or the country. DH and I made several exploratory trips to other states to see "if we could live there" but missed the conveniences we have here like public transit, several grocery stores within walking distance, the best restaurants, etc. I hate the weather here in the Winter, but LOVE it during the summer! We love Chicago, think it's a great place to raise our family and can't imagine living anywhere else!

I need 4 McDonalds within a 1 mile radius, a mall or three within a 30 minute drive, and multiple other shopping and dining options.

I need 24-hour stores.
