Why buy a SunPass transponder and register it (and unregister it after the rental), just to pay two tolls from the airport and two tolls to the airport? Why not just buy a Sunpass transponder? Who wants to sit in line behind people digging coins out of their purse/wallet?
I'd be happy if they just reciprocated with EZ-Pass. I already have that, but it doesn't work south of NC.Just wish they would update their technology so you can just use your cell phone as a transponder and get rid of the manned toll booths.

What about from WDW to Cocoa Beach and Clearwater Beach? Can we still use cash?
I'd like to know this also. We're headed to Clearwater for a day on our next trip.

I don't think I've ever waited more than minute to pay a toll on 528 or 417.
How much is it?I DO see long queues at the manned booths on 528 on occasion. I doubt the wait ever exceeds 4 minutes ... but 4 minutes can seem like 30 while you watch the electronic lanes just zip thru ... and the exact change lanes move faster too. OTOH if you have a transponder .. register/unregister takes about 120 seconds . . .
