You can put three toppings on your Hotdog, what are they

I tend to go simple with a hot dog - just mustard or relish (not both), sometimes ketchup or ketchupo and mustard mixed. I do like some fancy hot dog suaces, but I will typically use just that. I guess I don't really like to load up my hot dogs.

For all those wondering why they got Angry likes, let's ask Dirty Harry.

Although I wonder what he'd think about new age toppings such as bacon and avocado.

As for me, if I only get 3, give me mustard (preferably not plain yellow), kraut, and onions (grilled preferred)

Not sure it really qualifies as a condiment, but what about foie gras? I believe this is also with foie gras mousse with truffle aioli. I dunno. Maybe it's missing some gold leaf for good measure.

 The hot snack section at one of our local gas stations has the craziest things on their condiments bar. My DH thinks he's being deluxe when he puts macaroni and cheese and tomato pesto on his. When mac and cheese became a condiment, I have no clue.

Brown mustard and onions
OR
Chili, onions, and shredded cheddar (but only when we watch football games - it's some kind of rule) :cheer2:

I had an elote dog once. Was pretty good. Not sure if it counts as a single condiment. I've heard of salsa on hot dogs too.

Whatever. Ketchup goes on hotdogs. Period. I will not feel badly about it. It tastes good.

Yup. People often try to proscribe that it can only be done a certian way, but people like what they like. I like a Chicago Dog as much as anyone, but I also like other toppings too, inculding ketchup. I also like Chicago pizza AND NEw York pizza - it's not an either or.

I do die a little inside when people at the casino buffet ask they guy carving prime rib to throw it on the grill and make it well done. I mean, that's fine of course, but at that point it isn't prime rib so much as roast beef (which they also have). I once shared a knowing glance with a poor chef because I knew it was hurting his soul.

I think they're trying to make it more like a ribeye steak at the casino buffet when they do that. But I'm not so keen on how that would come out. If you want a ribeye, go to a place that has them rather than try to turn an already cooked rib roast slice into one.

Well we only got three ingredients, so that leaves out Chicago Dogs. But I think I'd still pick the Kraut, mustard, and onions.

BTW, New York Pizza is magical. It's first ingredient is the love and admiration of a unicorn.
