You can get the Brown Derby grapefruit cake at Hollywood Rolls!

I just found that out today on another thread.

It made me happy - it sounds delicious, but we're not eating at Brown Derby. What a nice alternative for a snack, or QS meal dessert!

Just thought I'd pass that along in case anyone else is interested in what sounds like a very light and tasty dessert.

A word of advice on this one....I had to ask for the grapefruit cake, as none was present and the request had to go through three CMS to verify that "yes" you can get the cake. Then it took a while to have it show up, so make sure that you leave some time if you want it....don't think that you can just grab-n-go!

BTW, this was really the only food that I went anticipating that disappointed...go figure

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to give it another try, but I didn't want to take a chance on not liking my dinner dessert. I'm more willing to take a chance on a snack.

Yes, that was my experience a couple weeks ago too. I asked one CM, who told me I needed to order it through the cashier CM. The cashier CM called over to Brown Derby to order it, then sent a CM who was just standing around (though they were busy) over to get it. It took about 10-15 minutes to come.

Thanks for the information. At least we will know to give it some extra time. But hopefully worth the wait.

True, when we visited in May '07 it was 10:00 am in the morning and they didn't have any. I was so disappointed.
