My wife takes yoga on Sundays at home and saw that it is available on the Wonder. She has a couple of questions:

1. What kind of yoga is it?
2. Is it necessary to go to the meeting that is at 5:15 the evening of departure (This means rushing from the departure party to the meeting as well as less time to prep for dinner at 6)?
3. Does she need to bring her own mat?
4. What is yoga like on the beach at Castaway Cay?

Any comments regarding yoga on board would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks..... Paul

I didn't do the on-board yoga, but I did do it on Castaway Cay. I consider myself a beginner, and it was an appropriate level for me. I'm not sure what type it was, but we did the same type of poses I do at home, i.e. downward facing dog, child pose, Sun Salutes, etc.
On Castaway Cay, we used towels for mats. Grab more than one so you will have one to wipe off the sand, too.
The yoga on CC lasted for about 45 minutes. It was a perfect way to start off the morning. You have to meet at the spa early so you can all disembark and get to the adult beach together (involves two tram rides).
I'm not sure which meeting you mean...if it is related to the yoga, you don't need to attend. I didn't attend any of the sessions other than the beach one. If it's a shore excursion talk, you don't need to attend that either.

I was looking at the Navigator for the 3N cruise on the castawayclub.com website for the first day. There is a seminar listed for 5:15 in the spa for yoga.

Thanks for the comments..... Paul
