It's McAfee's Knob on the AT. No campsites right there, but you go a little ways and you'll find a primitive spot.

Thanks guys and gals! I hope to feel better soon. It seems that my gall bladder is fine, however, they found out some problems related to my c section 4 years ago. Seems that some of my parts wanted to grow together with scar tissue, causing all kinds of inflammation and such. I don't have all the details, but the appendix is gone and lots of scar tissue. Needless to say, the ob/gyn was called in on the phone for consultation (which was also done on Monday, but for additional opinion.) Since I knew there would be nothing on TV, I decided to bring the air card to the hospital to keep my mind occupied.

Hiya, Jen! I hope you're better soon! kick the nurses out when they come in to check your blood pressure in the middle of the night!

Hey Jen, Glad to hear you are on the right track to feeling better.

On another note, we have checked into Cathedral Pines Campground. It poured the entire drive up, and the entire time I was setting up. On top of that, the girls had a couple friends over last week and they were all in the camper, well, apparently someone played with the faucet in the bathroom because after I had hooked up the water and turned it on I noticed a lot of water draining from under the camper. At first I thought it was the rain, but when I opened the door it came pouring out. The sink was completely overflowing and the floor was flooded. Oh what fun. I hope the weather is better tomorrow. We are right on the edge of Flagstaff Lake, I would like to walk around maybe take the kids fishing. Well, I'm am cold, and a bit wet. I'm off to bed. Have a great weekend everyone!

I think my PC Dr. is just being cautious and covering her butt! I had a little incident a couple of weeks ago but I feel fine now! We have crappy ins.(self-ins & high ded.) so I feel after the ER and DR. visits 2 weeks ago I have spent enough money on the informative
diagnosis I have been given so far...unknown syncope or fainting!

I really do hope that is all it was in all seriousness! Thanks for the concern!

Who knows? The migraines have been better lately. It is kind of exploratory surgery, I think. She had a CT scan done and they saw infection around her appendix so they are going to take that out. She has been sick to her stomache and in pain. They are going to look at her gull bladder as well while they're in there.


Rick goes to the Doc today, too, doesn't he?

I couldn't get on the board yesterday - too much work!

Glad about Jen - got the text from Chris yesterday.

Rick went to the Dr. yesterday, and as I suspected from the radiology report we received in the mail... he has slight adhesions from a previous back surgery. Our primary has referred him to a neurosurgeon - which he goes to next Thurs.

Primary Dr advises against more surgery - but will concede to whatever the specialist wants to do. In the meantime he will be going to a pain management group today - probably for some sort of injection to ease the pain. Rick's anxious about getting a shot directly in the middle of the spine...until I reminded him that I had a spinal tap in 1999 and to suck it up and be a man!!! (No sympathy from me!)

Okay... now I have to go do some catching up on this place!!

The scar tissue is adhesions! "Scar tissue gone wild!" That's what Rick has in his spine from previous back surgery.

I can't wait for the next GG when Jen & Rick show each other their scars & compare the horror stories of their surgeries!! You know...like the old guys on the benches outside of Publix!

I wanted not to confuse peoples, as I was confused myself until I got both of them in the room at once to explain. I am waiting on Chris to get here, breakfast to get here, papers to get here and to get out of here...they just wake u up too much! I thought it would be quieter, but my 4 year old and snoring husband sleeps better than this floor does. Oh well. Hopefully I am fixed now.

I didn't get any sleep at the hospital, between them coming in every hour or so, then it seemed like right after they left, some machine would beep at me, and I'd have to call them back in, it drove me crazy!!!!
