I have been looking for plans for bat boxes to put up on my house, I actually want some bats around to eat the bugs. LOL Are you having problems with bats? Our problem is the wood boring bees, they love log houses.

You know, I've been retired from the army for 5 years now and my favorite thing to wear is still an army PT uniform:

because it's comfortable, is great to workout in, is great to sweat in because it wicks sweat away, and it kind of defines ME! Plus I have about a million of them - I'm wearing a set now! It's also great to wear as PJs when we camp. It's an all around utility type garb! The only thing I don't like are the sweat pants because I wear the shorts as long as the temp is above 15.

It's kinda like Jen with her Auburn stuff!

I just finished "lurking" on the Kids of the Fort Fiend's thread. Pete....Rog.... keep away from the kid's thread!!!! You are NOT cool in the eyes of 8 to 13 year old girls. You are old farts!!! Like Megan said... O.U.T. OUT, dad!!!

These girls are so cute!! Can you imagine the chatter if they had their own little Grand Gathering??? And how do they do the "upside-down" question mark??

Glad to hear you guys are safe. We got hit 9 years ago. Took out both air conditioning units in the attic plus tons of other stuff. Almost $10000 in claims. It hit on a Saturday evening so we had to live without A/C for longer than one would like in Dallas in summer. No major structural damage, just lots of dead electronics.

It hit on a Saturday evening so we had to live without A/C for longer than one would like in Dallas in summer. No major structural damage, just lots of dead electronics.

I would have been camping in the driveway for sure...gotta have that a/c in Texas summer heat! Our downstairs themostat acted "funny" last night...but it's still cooling just fine....but we are still having it checked out! We have ton's of electronics that are either dead or acting funny...so the list is adding up quickly!

Hey! I just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone. I know we haven't been too active since the GG over Memorial Day, but we have good reasons! Dean's been out of town for work and I am busy working on a BABY. We are due in December and I'm already planning our first trip out to the fort with the Kid in tow. That'll be a couple of years down the road though. Hope everyone is well and I'll try to check in more often!!

I let dd9 post on the Fort Fiend kiddo thread. She's only met Donnie's and Rog's daughters...but that's it. She seem's to think if she "get's to know them" on these boards...that it will be "a blast" at the next GG! Too cute!
