Hi Sophia.. Im reading .. sorry I havent been here in awhile.. I am looking for my PTR and updating it with the link to my solo TR..

Not sure if you remember but my grandmom was quite sick before I left.. well I got back from my trip and she was put in the nursing home while I was away on my trip.. I got back and visited her.. the next day she was rushed to the hospital and admitted.. she stayed there a few days then was moved to a continued care hospital then back to the regular hospital and she passed away last Monday.. I havent been on the boards much since before I left..

Im loving reading your PTR though..

Ok, so now I am mad............

I just typed an update and it didn't post!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, I hate to retype it all so here are the highlights:

1. My brother told Joe today that he bought all new clothes and got himself new shoes AND gel inserts for his shoes. To me, new shoes + Disney = disaster so I hope that he breaks them in.

2. I am totally excited that my brother is psyched for this trip. Joe told me that my bro told him today about his budget for the trip which is what we take when we go for 10 days. He has no idea what to expect but we are hoping that he likes it enough to come back with us when we go on our family trips.

3. Joe and I found my clothes! Apparently I did not put them in my fancy schmancy giant ziploc bag. I put them in a box that we had sent home from Disney last September. I knew I would not wear them again so I must have packed them in that box that we sent all of our Disney ornaments back home in. Duh, I felt like a jerk but I guess it's a good thing I found them.

I am spending the night catching up on the DIS because I hate traveling for work and I AM STILL IN DC! UGH.........

Your trip to Jenns looked a lot of fun, and very busy! You did a lot in a weekend!

The cake at GF sounds good, and you're right. Sometimes you've just got to go for it, it'll be really special. And how much can a cake cost????

Sounds like you're all organised, can't wait to read about your May trip with your brother!

I just checked the forecast for next weekend in Orlando. Seems like there will be showers. On Memorial day, it just says rain. Eh, what can ya do? Monday we ae suppose to be at EPCOT for the entire day so we'll see. Cross your fingers people. I want my brother's first trip to be fun for him. I'll be packing the ponchos.

I remember last year the September forecast said rain every single day and honestly, I remember it raining once.

I am trynig to decide just how much camera equipment I want to lug down there for just 4 days. I really want to see if I have learned anythng over the last few months about using the Rebel which is I why I want to take it. On the other hand, I hate lugging all that crap for just 4 days. Don't know what to do but most likely, I will lug it with me...maybe not all of my lenses though but with my luck, I will NEED the larger one for Fantasmic. Decisions, decisions.

I've finally started packing. I probably should have made a list like I did for September....but I didn't. I think I will do that today just so I remember to bring everything. Joe and I are going to try and travel on one bag each since we have to pay for them now. That is so stupid if you ask me. I am so not daring enough to just take a carry on case.

Mom and I sat down yesterday and went over what she needs for OOP food and all of her tips. I made her a nice little list. After adding it all up again it seems that the dxdp will not be worth it for us. It will cost more to add it than what it would be to pay for the meals OOP. Let's hope my estimates are correct.

I went shopping yesterday and picked up travel size items for the trip. I had no clue that Tide makes wipes now. I knew that they had the Tide stick but I never saw the wipes before. I got some of them. Also picked up the hand sanitizers in a spray bottle and a few other items. I want to get a small can of Lysol spray too. I'm reading that people are spraying down their rooms and bathrooms these days.

We have firmly decided on no tour this year.....which I am sort of bummed about. With the price of the Wishes Cruise and the cake, it's just not really in the budget.

I have to figure out the changes in the photo shoot prices, etc. I have been reading on the boards that it is not like last year. I want to get that sorted out. Since I will be at the Poly next weekend I thought I'd ask them right there instead of trying to call. Maybe it will be easier to understand in person? It seems like you can no longer add park photo passes to the same CD. Either that or I am confused. And you can't add the fun borders. I love the borders. So I think that I have to get a pre-paid photo pass card for the park pictures AND a separate one for the photo shoot in order to get the $70 or $75 sitting fee and one of the three packages they are offering, plus the CD to do what I want with. It's ridiculous. I doubt that we will take enough park pictures to make it worth the $99 but then again I think a 5 x 7 is like $13 so maybe we will????? I hate this.

My nephew keeps hinting to my mom that he doesn't want her to go. He says stuff like who will make his lunch, who will fix his breakfast, etc. We were laughing about it the other day. Mom already told him that his mother can do that and that she is definitely going on vacation.

My binder is now bursting at the seams so it seems that I may need to move up to the larger size now. I'm going to knock off a couple of things from the list next weekend which will be cool so I won't have to waste time dealing with them in September. I'll get my AP voucher exchanged and the TIW card taken care of (since the stupid thing DID expire ).

We don't know until sometime this summer if we'll be able to go. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I'm gonna feel awful if we don't get to because it's for our daughters birthday and we've been talking this up to her for almost 2 years.

I try to chat but I'm easily distracted. I start clicking on links in peoples profiles and then wander off. lol I tend not to find my way back for awhile. Plus, i'm always on when I'm at work so I have to turn it off when my boss comes in my office.
