Just followed you over from my PTR and just sat and read the whole thing! I am totally stressing out about making ADRs now. I hope they get all the kinks worked out. Your scapbook pages look awesome. I wish I was half as taleneted
I was really surprised that I had the experience with my May ADR's though. 
I will cross my fingers for both of us! 
Seems like I gravitate to the Disney scrapping first. Imagine that!
Yay for mom! Of course, she wants me to call it in for her. 
Our plan is to pay off our trip next month, maybe sooner. 
I was asking DH about it and didn't get an answer for around 30 seconds. All I could think of was that he was going to say that it was too far of a drive or something. He has been having back issues lately and I was thinking maybe he couldn't be in the car that long. Then he said yeah, let's do it. 
So I cancelled my birthday trip in early April to Canada and we are going to see Jenn in late April instead!
The cover of my binder this year is the tshirt that I made that says "just us and gramma this time." I throw it in my carry on bag and then I have it with me the entire trip. 
I was talking to my mom yesterday and she is really excited. Today she is paying off her trip.
We are going to visit Inkedupmomma (Jenn) and her family for her son Jack's birthday in April.
My binder is all done and put together for our Sept trip. As I make adjustments I update and print the pages and then insert them into the binder. I am going to get my 2009 PassPorter this weekend. I had one in 08 and found it helpful. I am already starting my packing list which is probably insane but since the stupid park hours are not out yet, I have to do SOMETHING to pass the time.
We are trying to put together a meet on either the evening of 9/12 or the morning of 9/13. If anyone else is going to be there then and wants to join us, chime in!!

It may sound like this thing is huge, but actually, it's not. It's a one inch ring binder. I have tabs and pocket folders. One tab is for the "itinerary" that I type out in Waltograph font that is a summary of everything...air, car rental, resort, etc. I have a tab for air which holds my confirmation and eventually the boarding passes, the next is for car rental and I print out the confirmation and put it there, the next is for the resort. I have a pocket insert there that holds the information that I get in the mail from Disney. I punch all my reciepts and put them there too. Next I have a tab for AP's and there is a pocket for our AP's so that they don't get lost. Next is a tab for the dining plan. I printed the Dining Plan information including what restaurants participate, etc. from Disney's site and put it there. I use this mostly for counter service places so we are not running like fools trying to figure out what we can get, etc. Lots of times we look at it on the plane, etc. or just to pass the time. I also have a tab that I call Day by Day which has the itinerary for the day and then lines for notes so a the end of the day I can journal and have notes for my TR. I also have a miscellaneous tab to hold other stuff. DH laughs because I have this crazy thing yet I buy the Passporter too.
I also make this little itinerary cards that I laminate and then put onto a ring. I attach the ring onto my backpack so I have everything with me at all times. DH laughs about them but let me tell you, they saved my butt last year when I could not remember specific ADR times, etc. I showed them to Jenn and she seemed to like them last year. Once I get those done (probably right before we leave) I will post them here. You can see them in my scrapbook pages too in earlier posts. I decided to scrap them after the trip.
Sounds great! I've been adding tips & tricks to mine, a suggested packing list, general descriptions of what each restaurant serves, etc. I thought about ringed, laminated cards too, but maybe putting some trivia on them as well. I *love* the scrap pages, I did about 4 pages of my dogs, & will eventually do them for Conner & our trips. I'm slowly amassing a collection of stuff, & I need to designate a workspace. I hate clean-up, so if I have an organized, dedicated area, then I won't have to pack everything back up & put it away!
Yay, the party is the day that we want to go. Friday, Sept 18th! 
Last year she lasted all of an hour before my sister had to take her back to the resort. The dorks got lost and my sister ended up missing the entire party too. $100 bucks down the tubes!!! My mom has bad asthma and sciatica (or however you spell that). A month before our trip she was in the hospital with a horrible episode of sciatica. When they checked into CBR they were originally on the second floor. She told them about her hosptialization and they got moved to the first floor which I thought was awesome. This year she decided that she is going to wait until last minute to decide if she is going or not.
I'm debating if I want to do that or not since we really need have adjoining rooms. I don't want my mom far away and by herself. Not cool. They say that when you do the advance check in you can make your "requests" at that time. My fear is that we will do that and the rooms won't be near each other. Then what? Maybe I should just do it the old fashion way?
I am a bit behind the times but I just found the 2009 dates for MNSSHP!

Mom decided that she does not want me to get her ticket in advance this year.
Tell mom we will be there alllll night!!! so she needs to start preparing now! also, she may not get sick.. relay that message!
I'm thinking that I must not be paying attention to things because today I also learned about advance resort check in. Where the heck have I been???
any clue how that works?? sounds too risky too me! they mess wit the dxdp as it is.. i am worried advance check in would really screw it up! i hope our rooms are close enough!

I wish I could just keep it up but trust me, it's a mess in there when I get on a roll. 
She's a trooper though. Sometimes the heat gets to her and it's her asthma that makes her have to stop and go back to her room.
Hopefully all will be ok with your mom and she'll get to enjoy it.. 
I guess Im behind too.. I didnt realize any dates were out yet.. so I HAVE to check that out.. Im getting excited just thinking about it
I also didnt know about the advance check in thing.. Ok I'll have to read up on that before I can comment cause I didnt know about it at all..
My mom has not had issues for a while now (knocking on wood) so hopefully all will be a-ok!
Yeah, I need to get to my planning. I grew up on the west side too!! HUGE Cavs and Indians fan here!! And- I love your report so far
Yay, another reader! Thanks for joining. Where are you at now? Do you still live in NE Ohio? I just love it here. Grew up in Lakewood, moved to the east side just to say that I tried it for three years (Solon) then made my way back here. I remember growing up hearing people say "the west side is the best side."
Funny how Cleveland is...you are either an east sider or a west sider. That's it!
I have not been to a Tribe game in forever. Went to see the CAVS last year and sat in around row 10. Wow is all I can say!
