I cannot be the only parent who watches Yo Gabba Gabba with their toddler/kid. Please tell me I'm not alone. Someone.... any one????

No, you're not the only one :goodvibes
We are huge fans in our house. We know every single song, all the episodes, and of course my DD has all the stuffed characters at home and does a mean Biz's beat of day impression:laughing:.
I wish Yo Gabba Gabba Live would come do a show in our area. How cool would that be to see DJ Lance Live?
Gosh, this is so sad, coming from a 34 year-old woman...

I got excited to see the Yo Gabba Gabba float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's a creepy show with creepy characters but I really do enjoy it. At least the creepy-ness has music unlike Teletubbies which was just disturbing!

They scare me!!!!!!

I just can't watch for any length of time!

:scared1:

Im guilty as charged as well :goodvibes Actually I watch most of the Noggin/Nick Jr shows that my son watches...gotta love the music in Yo Gabba Gabba. It was sad when I was telling my son (who is now 4) what each of the Characters names were long before he knew LOL He now is able to tell everyone who is who...but I hate to admit that I do watch those shows as well. Hey at least they cant say that I dont know what my son is watching on tv :thumbsup2:rotfl:

Yep, DS liked it for a time. He will still watch the Jack Black episode if it comes on. He likes Jack b/c he's also "Po". (I think my guy has a future in voiceover work, since he recognizes things like that! Though he still insists that Tigress is a boy and is voiced by a boy...)

OMG my dd LOVES this show. I am totally creeped out by them. She calls them the "silly toys" and dances to all the songs. The songs are just strange and I just can't get them out of my head "keep trying... don't give up.....don't give up" UGH What a weird show!!!

Then they have the rock bands play rock music in the middle of the show, and the rapper..... UGH what a weird show!!!

I acutally bought my dd Yo Gabba Gabba underware. She always asks to wear her Foofa underware.

"There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy..." nah, never watched the show.....:rotfl:

My twins are two, and thankfully they are not as interested in Yo Gabba Gabba as they are in Kai Lan and Mickey Mouse clubhouse, but we have def watched our fair share!!!!

Yo Gabba Gabba doesn't bother me. I CANNOT STAND Max and Ruby. I try to switch the channel before it comes on, but I don't always get it in time. DS3 just thinks Max is so funny.

Woo-hoo a Yo Gabba Gabba mommy train :woohoo:

My son will wimper and one of my kids will ask, 'Do you want a party in your tummy?', he'll reply, 'uh-huh'... they'll do that little skit and break out in song during our dinner time. At first I thought something was really wrong with him, but my dd corrected me saying he wanted a party in his tummy.

We've discovered yogabbagabba.com so DS can watch and get more obsessed via computer. Its a strange show, yet I find myself sucked in watching it. :goodvibes

Who are your or your kids favorite characters? My toddler son being so young doesn't have an absolute favorite, but my older kids think Broobee is the best.

You are not alone. My DS loves them! I love Foofa, she has the most adorable voice.

I love Brobee!!!! I found myself in Target the other day singing and dancing to the song "Party in my Tummy".

Thats what I do with Wonder Pets! Don't like that show.

I like the Yo Gabba Gabba with Jack Black. I always wonder how much they paid him to do that.

Yea, the FRIENDS episode! I love that one and the one where the special guest was this lady named Leslie. Oh man, I've been looking for that gold outfit she wore ever since...LMAO :rotfl:!

We are a YGG family as well.

DS2 has all (and i do mean ALL) their videos, a Brobee hoodie, YGG shoes, YGG toys...you get the picture.

We even have the YGG soundtrack playing in the car when we are out and about. And I should be ashamed to say that I sing along to the soundtrack even when DS2 isn't in the car with me :lmao:

I thought it was such a strange show at first, but it has grown on me. My DS2 has lots of developmental delays, and some of his first words were words from this show...tummy, Brobee...share. So...that made me start liking it more, lol.

Oh, and he's going to have a YGG party for his 3rd birthday...

There is a Yo gabba gabba moratorium in our house!

I hate the way brobie's arms just swing around lifelessly, and DJ Lance, well, just eeewww.

Now, Jack's big music show, on the other hand . . .

who iiiiissss it? It's the Schwartzman Quartet!

OMG.

And it looks like it's not just for the show!

She "first began displaying herself in "strangely glamorous and unflattering ways" while attending ... High School..."

:rotfl:

And wow....

In its first two seasons, the show featured a wide variety of guests, including Jack Black, Dennis Horkenbach, Leslie Hall, The Shins, The Aggrolites, Andy Samberg, Cornelius, Biz Markie, Shiny Toy Guns, Supernova, Mark Mothersbaugh, Rahzel, The Postmarks, Sugarland, Tony Hawk, The Roots, Low, Laila Ali, Elijah Wood, Mýa, The Salteens, Sean Kingston and series co-creator Jacobs' band, The Aquabats. In the second season bands like Enon, The Clientele, Joy Zipper, Of Montreal, Mates of State, and The Ting Tings were featured.

Yo Gabba Gabba was a hit for my little boy this morning. I got him the boom box that you can flip open like a lap top (by V-Tech), the other boom box that the charaters flip up from the top. He won't let go of them! They're on constant 'play' mode as well as the dancy-dance dvd he got from Grandma. He wasn't interested in any other presents after opening his YGG packages, guess those shoud've been last :rotfl2:

Did you kids have a Yo Gabba Gabba day too? Merry Gabba day to you all!
