Hi there Tony! Thumper's doing good! In the past 48 hours, he has learned to eat out of a bowl all by himself and hop! (now you won't be able to catch him! ) He still needs the formula and I'm STILL getting up for those 3 am feedings. You know how they are...no wait....you DIDN'T get up for them did you??

Glad to hear thump is doing good!!!!!! Is Jeana still mad at me?

BTW I did get up for those 3am feedings a couple of times.

Just wondering if you are planning on keeping him or releasing him back into the wild. I'm really surprised he has survived this long, I've never heard of a wild bunny being domesticated, but there could be a first.

I've promised myself that I would always put Thumper's needs before our personal feelings. He is doing so well with us...no signs of the "stress" I had been warned about. He has only seen our family, so I don't know if he'd be afraid of people or not. Another concern is of cats. We have a cat and Sabrina, depsite the fact that she is really annoyed at having competition in the house, has made no attempts to attack and the rabbit shows no fear of her either. We have been allowing Thumper "floor time" so he can have time to strengthen his legs. If one of us are sitting on the floor with him, he will hop up to us and sit real close...close enough that we're touching. He's a real sweetie.
For now, he's ours. If he turns wild as he matures, I'll have to check into the rehab center. We'll cross that bridge when and if we come to it.
