YIPPEEE...waitlist comes thru...AGAIN!

I have been a little lax in my ressies for this year...Got ressies ffor June but waited too long and could only get bw preferred view,went on a waitlist for standard. They called NYE with the standard, resulting in a considerable point savings. This morning I called...trying to get Sun & Mon MLK weekend (hows that for last minute) Absolutely nothing available anywhere...so I asked them to waitlist me...and they called me in the late afternoon with a bw 1 bedroom. The moral of this story is....THE WAITLIST ROCKS! And who else will be there MLK weekend?

Hi we will be at bwv for mlk weekend.

We bought points at bcv in Sept., and we always go mlk weekend for our dotw trip. So we thought we'd use those points on mlk weekend. I knew that it was within the 7 month window by the time we bought them, but I figured that since all the rooms weren't turned over to dvc from cro yet that there might be some magic to be made for a new purchase, but I was sort of wrong about that - we were on the wait list for bcv or bwv since Sept. until a couple of days ago. Actually we had rooms at okw but the other resorts were full. I still feel like if the cro rooms hadn't been rented at bcv then they would have opened them up at the last minute. The sunday night was the hard night to get on the weekend, but we got it for three studios.
