So being a complete cruise addict after my first DCL on 5/18/03(which was amazing), I didn't think my DF (finacee) agreed. Although he had a good time I didn't think he'd want to definetly cruise again and specifically DCL again (kinda been there done that attitude). I tried to hide my addiction so as not to scare him.

Well, I am pleased to say he just told me if I want to, lets book another one for next year but this time 7 days!

Now I have the question - since I've borrowed points up the wazoo and will have to pay cash - how tempting does Royal Caribbean Voayager class ships look since they are so much cheaper then DCL. I have to determine how much does Mickey Mouse mean to me?

Any thoughts?

There is absolutely a financial consideration in choosing a vacation.

As I see it, you have a few options, without having to break your personal budget.

We've done RCCL and we loved them. serivce, food and amenities were first rate. Rooms were small, but we don't plan on staying in the room.

If you never try RCCL you will not know what you are missing. My prim, proper wife loves playing the poker machines in the casino. Nowhere else but on a cruise does this come out. Go figure.

If you do try and you find it's not your cup of tea, you will appreciated DCL all the more on your THIRD cruise.

Thats my two cents worth.

Jim
