Yipeee!! I'm on a Disney High!!!

Just returned from 4 nights in AKL Jambo Studio with just my hubby-- loved it!
Just canceled a VGF stay (it's beautiful but our personal choice, it's not for when we have our kiddos with us... )& rebooked our June trip to be in AKL-Kidani -- the huge savings of points gave us enough points to book a 3rd trip for December (making the most of those APs!!!) @ AKL Jambo Value 1BR!

I can't believe I got in with a Jambo value 1 BR! I know we didn't love the Jambo 1 br as much as the kidani (hello extra bathroom!) but we know we will be happy to be closer to Mara and Boma and everything!

I'm just so excited I had to share it!!


Now 2015 will be so tame in comparison, LOL. might "only" get one trip in

How exciting! We've been DVC members since 2005 and have been to Disney at least 2 times a year (sometimes 3) ever since. Sometimes with kids, sometimes without. We try to go when it's not so busy and sometimes just work in a long weekend when airline prices are good. We've always been able to get a room somewhere. Makes the AP very worthwhile.

Awesome, we were at Kidani in November and love it! Going back in December and bringing my parents. Can't wait to share our DVC with them!

Enjoy! We're Kidani/Jambo lovers too. Our first 'home' was BCV, but once we bought into AKV and stayed there, we absolutely fell in love. We just love the whole feel of AKV and love being there.

Even though it's farther out ; so far that's all we know (only ever stayed far our!) we love AK too so yay for being close to there!! Our next trip we are planning a little more bum around the resort time, since it will be hot and we are coming with our small kids!

Yesterday I did lunch with Animal Specialist at Sanaa in Kidani and learned a lot and enjoyed the food. I was with a family who love Jambo just about the most of any of the DVC resorts.

We love Kidani with the family and Jambo value studios when it's just DH and I. Although I did grab VGF for 2 nights in March. Points are so high though I don't think we'll do that too often. It'll be a nice treat.

We loved Lunch with an Animal Specialist -- IIRC we visited with Eric and Dan. You get to sample all the breads and sauces plus some entrees. On our March trip I'm hoping to do the Night Savanna Tour.

"An Untamed Lunch" at Sanaa! I did book around 3 months ago, and I was with a family of 6, all adults. The food for me was better than the last time I did it 2 years ago, or my taste has changed. I preferred the chicken over the mahi mahi, but the desserts were fabulous. A trio, cheesecake, chocolate mousse and chai cream.

We had 2 animal specialists, Mel, and unfortunately I forget the other's name, also starting with M. Mel works with Red River Hogs, and she had us lots of stories about the animals in all of the savannahs at Jambo and Kidani.

I was disappointed to learn that Kidani, the zebra born when Kidani the building was taking shape is "no longer with them."

I will most likely do the experience again in a few years.
