Yipeee! I can stop stressing about DD1 on plane!

Since we are stopping at my company's main office in Boca before we head to WDW, my boss offered to let us use his Skymiles for the plane fare. I only got tickets for DH and myself, since I thought it was customery for children under 2 to be in a parent's lap. Once I started reading the posts on these boards about babies and car seats on the plane, I felt like I made a mistake, and DH was saying we should just buy DD a seat. I asked the FL office today if it would be ok to get another seat with Skymiles at this point (several months after the original offer was made) and they said OK! Yipee! Hopefully there will be no glitches, and the seat I have on hold will still be there when the miles hit the account (had to transfer from Amex rewards). An added bonus is that I will not have to worry about my stupid luggage weight anymore because I can bring more!!!! (Wait a minute- maybe that is not such a good thing...) Now I don't feel so bad about not being able to get an AP discount on my room... I just saved 150-200! With my luck, something will mess it up....

That's great! There must have been some picxie dust floating around to get your DD a seat with skymiles. Just keep your fingers cross and hopefully everything will work out well without
