A fellow DISer shared their SWA code today with me. I was able to change a one plane change fare to 4 nonstop seats (which was not their earlier this AM) saving $490 credit for our next March trip. I was just trying to get the last seat for DH with a $25 credit. While I was waiting for the code SWA opened up one flight for $79 nonstop enough for all of us.
I canceled the last nite at AKL for this trip because I could only get the $79 fare for SAT not the original Sun return. But instead of having the points in holding I was able to add two nites for our March vacation I was points short and couldn't buy any from Disney until the 7 mnth window I figured March at BCV would be booked by then. And the first day the our March vacation is my bday. I waitlisted for the new first nite of arrival with points that I can bank if we don't get it for this Nov trip. We now arrive at 10:10P I will just get that $32 special if I don't get our first nite.
The car rental price stayed the same since we are leaving so early Sat. I'm OK with that- the reason we weren't staying late Sat with the orginal trip was car rental went up over $100 bucks (due to holiday weekend). That is why we went ahead and were planning to stay SAT night too with the original trip.
I was able to change our SAT ressis BBB and CRT to almost the exact time to Friday. So if anyone wanted Nov 14 BBB 8AM for one it is open and Nov 14 noon for CRT for 4 it is open.
This is still a surprise trip for the kids so I can't share with anyone at home with me today. Di
