Yikes!!! Found a bat in my garage

Just open the door now, then close it around 11 PM. It WILL be out hunting at that time, guaranteed.

That bat wants nothing to do with you, it's not going to come after you. It is probably more scared of you that you are of it. I mean think of it: There it was, just sleeping and minding its own business, when suddenly this hysterical woman starts screaming and running around! I bet it's terrified!!

I am freaking out. I had just opened the garage door and pulled in - got the kids out of the car (8,5 and 3) and looked up and saw something - looked weird because it was just in the middle of the wall so stupid me walks closer to get a look - I was only about 2 feet away before I realized what the heck it was!!!!

I ran screaming GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT (Have you ever seen a 36 year old fat woman run like a scared little girl- not pretty!) - scared the crapola out of my poor kids of course..

Now I am just freaking out knowing that it's IN THERE! - I have the door open - but how will I know if it's GONE - it could have just moved?? It's a GARAGE which means there's tons of crap in there- it could hide anywhere and when I least suspect it BOOM - it could be coming after me.

Part of me thinks the way I am behaving is a riot because it's IS just a tiny bat and I do have the ability to realize I am panicing but O!M!G!!!!!!! I hate creatures!!!!!!!!

I just called DH again and told him he just has to leave work now and get this thing out....

I'm sorry but :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Honestly I would feel the same way. And I would watch out for my dh. He would be buying every rubber bat in town. :sad2: :confused3

I beg to differ. I was NOT running "around" I ran in a very STRAIGHT line AWAY from it :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

ETA: Oh and by the way DS's backpack is in the car still - guess who won't be doing homework until after DH comes home - I'M not going down there to get it!

Put on your heaviest pants, turtleneck, boots, leather gloves, winter coat, and a ski mask, and arm yourself with a broom against the forces of evil--beady-eyed pointed teeth little bas...er...basket-case. Oh wait--that would be me. Nevermind.

Just wait for your DH to come home and deal with it. :scared1:
