Thanks for the info. I was raised in the south and lived in Florida for many years. It is funny to me how people think it is always hot all over Florida. It does get pretty cool in December and Janurary. I actually like to be warm in Florida, like 80 degrees or so. We do not swim when it is cold. But, cold is a relative term, northerners think 50 is warm.

But, cold is a relative term.

I often get a chuckle when going through a toll both. When the Florida temps are what we would consider pleasant Spring or Fall weather, the toll booth operators are dressed in parkas, hats and gloves. Maybe it's cold in those booths.

As for what to take, I would bring plenty of layers. If you sit out at night to watch fireworks or a show, it's going to be pretty chilly while you're waiting.
