I have Delta Skymiles to use, so my bf and I are searching for tickets through Delta to go to Disneyland this September/October/November (not sure yet....my birthday is the sort of tentative date). The CHEAPEST Delta ticket I've found is $319 a PERSON! YIKES!

Is there any way to find a less expensive airline ticket?? We've found tickets to Vegas MUCH cheaper than that!

Throw in a room at one of the Disneyland Resorts, and I can feel my wallet tightening! Any tips?

Ouch! I just paid that to get my pups out of boarding. Good luck!!!!

It's too soon for a fare sale in that time frame...but the prices probably WILL come down, especially if you fly on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Often it's cheaper to fly into LAX (plus you can go non-stop on Song) than it is to fly into SNA.

About the lowest fare you will get is around $200 RT...rarely have I seen fares of less than $200 for that route.

Go to Travelocity and put that your dates are flexible. I found $183 round trip on Delta. I don't know what your dates are but you can try that. (This was into LAX, not OC)

Ahhh I just saw your dates...ha ha ha. Keep trying later in the summer. The rates will go down and you will probably get something similar to that $183

Welcome to my world in reverse. Flying California to Florida always costs us at least $280 per person.

And look at Southwest and America West.

OOOH, Me thinks this is payback for that "driving to WDW" thread!;) :p Yep, see what we northerners deal with? Keep trying SW, Delta prob won't be your cheapest airline.

Ontario airport is often cheaper than John Wayne. Give it a try. Its an easy drive to FL from there.

Definately try America West. I am flying them next month from San Jose to Orlando for $250 RT, and to me that is a total bargain (anything under $300 coast to coast is a bargain imo).

It's too early to be seeing cheap fares. And, as someone else mentioned, it is ALWAYS more expensive to fly into Orange County; LAX is about 20 minutes further (and a bigger and uglier airport), but often $100 cheaper. I doubt you will find anything cheaper than $200 per person- good luck!

Minnesota fares are usually over $250 and higher.

herc.

Just keep checking the following airports:
Los Angeles
Orange Co.
Burbank
Ontario
Long Beach
They are all very close to DL. As posted previously, LAX is probably going to be the cheapest but occasionally the others have short-term specials. If you see anything around the $200 range -- go for it. You still have plenty of time to plan!

Hehehehehe :) Yup, payback is a meanie :)

Thing is though, I have to use Delta since I have 25,000 Skymiles...that enough for one roundtrip ticket. We would still have to get one for my bf and Miss Maddy is she's allowed to go.

Right now the fare into LAX is $203. Have you checked for the availability of flights using your frequent flier miles? You need to do that first as you are going to be very limited as to what flights you can even go on using the 25,000 mile option. Don't be surprised if they're already sold out. Also, you can use your Delta miles on Continental or Northwest but you still have to book it through Delta. You have to ask the sales agent to check for those fares as well as they don't always do it automatically. In my reply earlier I said you have lots of time to plan. But that's not really the case if you are using FF miles. The seats sell out so fast it's crazy ... get going, girl !!!

Oops!! I meant to say its any easy drive to "DL" from there!! FL would be a REALLY LONG drive from Ontario airport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
