Yet another WDW vet takes on DL

Each Drop chute at DCA has one programmed drop pattern - if you change chutes from one ride to the next you get a different ride but each only has one sequence. HS is completely randomized

It's my absolute favorite so I've ridden it 6 or 7 times in a row... But I promise it's true lol

I have never heard this before. I will pay more attention next time (one more week! ). The DCA version always seems like the same ride to me.

I only rode ToT once so far this week (today) so I can't make any personal observations, but I did ask the ToT CMs about this when we were about ready to board the ride. They told me emphatically that all ToT elevators at DCA have the same drop sequence. I did not ask about WDW, but they added without prompting that WDW ToT has the randomized drop sequence. I am not saying they are right and you are wrong. I am just saying what they told me.

It's entirely possible that I received incorrect information from my source. That's so cool you asked and followed up here! Plus I love having debates with such esteemed members such as yourself!
