Yet another ticket upgrade question!

We bought the promotional 3 Park buy 2 days get 3 days free tickets. We are planning on upgrading to season passes since 2 of our kids are in college in Florida

They are not selling these tickets anymore so what would they use as the bridge between these tickets and APs? 2 day tickets, 5 day tickets or the old price for the promotional tickets?

We upgraded these same tickets purchased from UndercoverTourist in June and Universal credited us $339.99, which I believe was Universal's pre-purchase price ($20 less than gate price).
