After initially saying NO to spring break 2019, DH and I have decided that we in fact DO want to take a trip with the kids (boys: 13, 11, and 7 when we go). If we decide to "go Disney" it will be our 3rd Disney trip in 4 years which is kind of a lot for us (we went for a week at Christmas 2015 and for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year of 2017/18.) We are seriously considering going again. I like staying in a suite. I love my children, but I don't want to share one big room and one bathroom with them for an entire week. I feel like it would be a more interesting trip for the kids to have a new set of pools to play in part-way through the stay, but if there is strong disagreement

We stayed at AoA the week of New Year this year and the weather was SO AWFUL that we didn't get to do/use a lot of the things there....as in all of the pools were closed every.single.day. Otherwise, the room set-up was REALLY nice since we didn't have to be lights-out at bedtime for the youngest to go to sleep. I think 2 park days is all we would go for at this point because we "just" did 10 park days last year and our "must do" attraction list is significantly shorter. Animal kingdom is one for-sure park. The other is undecided at this point.

We are trying to plan a much more relaxed trip this time around, 2 park days, AoA from Saturday-Wednesday and then WHERE for Wednesday-Friday? (keeping it under around $500/nt.) Current availability shows:

Beach Club Villa Delux Studio (This cost as the baseline)
Kidani 1br standard view Villa (+$200 total)
Jambo House 1br standard view Villa (+$230 total)

Can you use both the kidani pools AND the jambo pools regardless of which one you stay at?

OR would it make more sense to just stay at AoA the whole time and go to BB or TL for a day?

And wild-card question: if you do a split stay is there still a way to add dining if you are only doing 2 park days and each of those days are during the separate resevations?

You can use either pool at the AK resorts but you have to take a shuttle back and forth. They’re not right next to one another. I’d probably go with AKL bc if I was at an Epcot resort I’d want to go into the park! Plus if you don’t want to all stay in one room then BC studio would be out right?

My vote would be for the 1-bedroom at Kidani. You've already stayed at AoA, so I would switch to try something new. Yes, you can use both the Kidani and Jambo pool and amenities and the Kidani 1-bedroom will have two bathrooms (Jambo only has one). I think you will be completely squashed with 5 in the BCV studio.

If you want the dining plan on both reservations, simply book AoA with your ticket and dining and your second reservation as a "ticketless package" (room plus dining). You will need to call the ticketless package in to book as you can't book that online.

We would definitely be more squished the the BC room, but would the pool make up for it? The kids aren't interested in epcot :(

Good to know about calling for the ticketless package. I didn't see it online so I wasn't sure if such a thing existed.
